hmm, that scene cld be interpreted in many ways

in my opinion he wants of course to be together with her, even if they won't get Zola back. but in this moment he is still so mad, he wants to say no, that Zola got taken away just messed even more with him. but at the same time he wants to say yes, cuz he loves her so much. that's why he tries to avoid this question. He knows he might say something he wld regret later. And that is why he is just walking away, he just doesn't wanna say something more that will hurt her, but at the moment he can't just be the happy husband. He hurts too much for this, but he doesn't wanna make it any worse. He is not running, he has a weird way to handle this, but this is how I see it. He just doesn't wanna make a decision before he got a clear head again.

OMG! You said it that he isn't ignoring it or anything but he just can't be loving towards her right now...he can't be mcdreamy because he is so freaking mad and saying things like Meredith, ofcourse I want us to be together...is so McDreamy😍🤣☺️

Done with epi one really dnt know where to start where not

but right now am totally gng nuts over the very last scene Mer taking Zola away and Der in surgery his patient has a crisis and he says to Ari that he needs her but what i felt ws that "I need u' at least his soul ws saying it for Mer Mer i need u...omg...and the VO the end VO is just WOW...and they only showed MerDer in the end of epi one the WHOLE of epi one end VO was on them and it was BEAUTIFUL...they were not together but still connected still in same circle of eternity...reminded me so much of the bimb epi when Mer ws taking the bomb out and Der ws trying to save Bailey's husband...god...i just...its beautiful

SPECIALLY THE VOS THEY R KILLING ME

...and then you become a mother...OMG
and Derek's speech to SW Mer is the best mother a child can have she lvoes Zola she loves me IF she has a flaw its that she loves ppl SO MUCH she wld do ANYTHING for them
