Day could never be more beautiful... We had a potluck at work, mediterranean theme... So it was good 😃

Weather's good, it's bright and sunny...But not my kind of weather 😕 I hate the sun!

Arre sabko Easter ka long weekend mila, bus mujhe hi nahi mila But ya, being home alone can get boring... Koi movie dekho 😛

Kuch nahi banaya, I was tired and din't want to cook... So picked a few packs of pita chips and some other party sides 😛 😆

ok...now I want pita chips n baba ghanouj...last time mirchi ka salan banaya tha na tumne...movie kya dekhu...sab boring movies hai😕Ouch...wait koi classic comedy hi laga leti hun...Padosan lagati hun...arre but my talking machine will be back in 50 min. uske aane ke baad bore hone ka sawaal hi nahi uthta😆😆😆

Oh Mandu... yeah weather for a change is good today over here. Rain makes it dull otherwise.
I just know how to make hummus no other Mediterranean dish. If either of you know any, please share. (Veggie and not too spicy!)😳

Aaawww Ishi🤗 50 me se 15 min already pass ho gaye😃...I know baba ghanouj n some non-veg.recipes...baba ghanouj is veggie n not spicy,so ur kind of food😛...recipe...hhhmmm wait,
(try with 1 eggplant)


Baba Ghanouj

3 large eggplant
3/4 cup tahini (sesame seed paste*)
1/2 cup lemon juice
2 teaspoons minced or pressed garlic
Pinch of cayenne
1 teaspoon salt

Garnishes, optional:
6 or 8 chopped black olives
Thin layer of olive oil
  • Chopped parsley

    The eggplant can be prepared 2 ways:
      1. Broil or grill the eggplants, turning often, until the skin is blackened and blistered and the meat is tender, about 20 or 30 minutes . Let them cool for about 10 minutes and then peel the skin from the eggplant.

      2. Bake the whole eggplants in a 350 oven for about 1 hour or until the meat is tender. Cool for about 10 minutes, then peel, or cut the eggplants lengthwise and scoop out the meat. To reduce baking time, first cut the eggplants in half lengthwise and place them skin side down on a baking sheet.)

    Squeeze the cooked eggplant meat to release excess liquid. Puree the eggplant and the remaining ingredients in a blender or food processor.

    Transfer to a serving dish and garnish, if desired. Serve with pita bread wedges, radishes and green onions. Makes 3-4 cups.

    *You can make your own tahini paste in a food processor or blender by grinding toasted sesame seeds. First, toast the sesame seeds in a skillet over medium-high heat until golden brown, about 3 minutes. A standard 3-ounce package of sesame seeds makes just about 3/4 cup of tahini.
