LOL I think since most of her claim to fame is her role as Gunjan in MJHT, she seems to be typecasting herself in similar roles now......waise bhi if the show is on SP, it's going to be a melodrama by and large.....she'll be bahaaoing endless aansoo....she has enough practice as Gunjan.....so no worries.....haha

What show is this? Any clue? Sanaya looks like a misfit "Anarkali" at some fashion show. Last time I heard Mohit too was being "considered" for some show. Gawd only knows what happened after that.

Edit: Btw, I'm all caught up with Navya ... Anant is truly a genuine character. Liked the way they gradually shaped up Navya's character as well. The kitchen politics are annoying. I'm liking the college friends angle thus far. If they get too much, I'll probably quit the show. Anant's family is a bit too intimidating.

Daljit Kaur is back in television with Star Plus' upcoming show Vaidehi...

Daljit Kaur, who came into the limelight as a simpleton girl in Santaan, is now back in television after hiatus and will be seen in a very prominent role in Star Plus upcoming show Vaidehi produced by Four Lions Films and Panglosean's Entertainment. She will play the role of the lead guy's sister in the show.

A source says, "The search for the sister was on since a long time and as the role is challenging, we were looking for a much matured girl. After a prolonged hunt, we have now finalized Daljit to play the role and she will start shooting soon."

"The role is really challenging because the girl is supposed to be physically challenged", adds the source.

Vaidehi is a much talked about show that in Star Plus and will be launched post IPL. The show is supposed to be the story of a young and suave business tycoon and his elder sister, and how their life changes when they both meet their right match.

We hear that the show is already on floors and their first outdoor shoot has begun in Kolhapur. The relationship of the brother and sister is an integral part of the show and will be shown in the first episode itself.

Telly Buzz had already reported that Abhaas Mehta of Devi fame will play the parallel lead in the show and he will be the love interest of Daljit.

Daljit who won Nach Baliye 4 with Shaleen Bhanot is back to fiction after marriage.

We tried contacting Daljit and even texted her message, but has not received a response till the time we filed the story.

Barun Sobti and Sanaya Irani will play the leads in the show.

I remember a while back on Sony there used to be a show called Vaidehi too about this woman who is tricked into marrying this impotent guy and then later on she falls in love with his younger brother or something......Manav Gohil was in that show.

I know what show you are talking about Anu ... I had seen that show in passing ... Btw - there was a show many years ago on SP called Kora Kagaaz. It had Renuka Shahane in lead role along with Salil Ankola. It had a similar story like Vaidehi - except Renuka comes from an impoverished family and she is tricked into marrying a guy from a rich family who already has an affair with some TP film actress. And Renuka goes on to fall in love with her brother-in-law Salil Ankola and eventually marries him rising above all the social dogmas... It was a very revolutionary serial of its time.

Hello. ahem ahem I'm Amy. Not that i was stalking this thread or Anu or Shreya (whom i just met on Navya forum) but was looking if either of them two had posted anything after today's show and i found this thread.

You guys seem to be having pretty extensive good discussions here. Although i don't watch this "jagya" show you all have been discussing for the past few pages. or "LTL" or "Miley jab something something"😆
anyhow, "Navya" forum seems to be full of typical phangurly posts ...and only that one single thread from our morning discussion that can be considered a "post". ..lol

so anyways, is this thread "Invite only" or could I join ya in the discussions. I think going by the posts that i saw and also from the morning discussions, we seem to have similar "likes" or "dislikes"😆

I solemnly swear I'm up to nothing but random rambling. Ok that was lame. **embarrassed muh**

P.S. So I was in the middle of my LTL catch up when I came across this promo for the new Ekta show on Sony starting after IPL.. With Sakshi and Ram.. And I think I want to watch it. I mean it's Ekta, so it's the same old predictable nonsense but I liked Sakshi during her Janki/Parvati days toh I think I'll give it a go. Waise bhi aur toh kuch dekhne ko hai nahi.. *shrugs* It's odd how I'm looking forward to an Ekta show!!! LTL ki wajah sey ye din bhi dekhna parh gaya.. *shakes head* 😆

Don't watch the Jagya show either , please :P Aur MJHT bhi toh...phurrrrrrrrrrr. We just have exceptionally bad luck insofar that every show we like and hence watch , goes down the drain at some point of time or the other.

Oh wait , that's what happens to every viewer of an Indian soap. The sane ones at least.
