@Fivr....that was my reaction of Booth when I first watched the episode. I actually HATED him. However, after discussing the episode with Anu, Mash and Vas a number of times and looking at the caps Anu posted, I have sort of softened on him. I think I will hold back my final take on Booth till I watch the next episode. Just to know that if our analysis are in sync with how Booth is portrayed in future.

You see, I'm not sure whether this was Booth's not-so-tactful way of 'acting' detached, so that things don't get hard for him, or if he was just being detached for real. If the former is the case, I guess, I won't hold anything against him. He is just trying to guard himself, and trying to protect a relationship that has made him happy. But if the latter is the case, God help him then :@

But I think the first one is more likely. Not only does it somewhat go with the Booth we love, but also the recent spoiler said that Brennan will always be Booth's pillar......so, I suppose he is just trying to act detached so that his feelings for Brennan does not come in the way of his relationship with Hannah, and more importantly does not hurt him all over again.

OMG this looks brillianttttttttttttttttttttttt! Jack Sparrow is backkkkkkkkkkkkk! Woohoooo! Seriously he MAKES this franchise! And finally they've decided to concentrate on him the most....haha.....Loved that bit when he's like "There should be a captain there in the middle somewhere" Johnny Depp is sooooooooooooo freakin brilliant in this role....I will always love him in this role the best! haha....Oooh and Penelope Cruz as well! Niceeee! I loveeeeeeeeee that fast paced background music they use in this series.....always gets me excited! Looking forward to it!

^ I know Anu.... Isn't johnny depp brilliant? I remember the first time I saw the movie without ANY background or knowledge about what the movie is about, DH and I came out of the movie halls raving about Jack Sparrow's character. It is just so brilliant. I cannot wait to watch this movie with just Jack in it!

@Mash....dude, I love Jack Sparrow too. He is the life of the movie. The guy is so funny and his unethical approaches are just amazing to watch. I am all smiles after watching the trailer. Wooohoooooo.......Jack Sparrow is back!!!!!!!!!!Oh, and how cool is it to watch Jack jumping from here and there. He rocks at doing those stuffs. Never thought that I would like a drunkard wacko dude so much😆

@LadyM....I KNOW! Johnny Depp played the role of Jack Sparrow with perfection. The guy got to the skin of his character. Brilliant performances by Depp. The first installment was awesome. I liked the other two a lot as well, since what's not there to like about Jack😆. Plus, all three movies were very entertaining as a package. I'm glad that Elizabeth-William story is not being dragged. Although, I did like the trio.......but the couple has got their fine end.

@Anu....yeah, I read that spoiler. I was so so so happy after reading it. It brought all my hopes back. Cannot wait to have the sniper make his entry. Do you suppose that Booth leaning on Brennan for support rather than Hannah would make Hannah choose to go away? Although I would like a realistic and logical end of Hannah's part, but the BnB fangirl inside me wants Hannah to be murdered or to turn out to be a psychotic murderer :P It will help me heal from the Hannah-induced torture faster😛

The background music gets me all excited as well. I get hyper and stuff. I simply can't stop smiling. Suddenly, I am feeling very energetic...hahaha. I think I will watch the first three movies again. To refresh my memories and all.

@LadyM: Totally! And they've retained a good mix of characters like Geoffrey Rush's character....honestly you make ANY character interact with Jack, it becomes fun as it is.....so it's good to see a fresh mix of characters and like Mels said, Will and Elizabeth got their logical end so it's good not to drag them in again....I'm excited to see new characters like Blackbeard and the mermaids etc.


@Mels: Exactly! Reading that spoiler somehow really has me hoping a lot again....plus I was watching all those old VMs and I got emotional and nostalgic again.....Yeah I have a feeling that the way that sniper issue will mess with Booth's mind, he can only open up to Brennan....as it is he's hidden a lot of things from Hannah.....and this issue toh it's only Brennan that can understand him and be there for him.....and I think we'll see a reverse from what has happened in the beginning of this season.....BnB will grow closer over that issue and maybe Hannah will get the wake up call then and just leave....I dunno if she'll die....how I wish she would but seems like HH and co. are too blindly in love with her to do that....they seem to want to keep her annoying self around whether she's with Booth or not....bleaghhh....whatever....I don't care what happens to her as long as the BnB dynamic is back....which I really feel it will be in Jan *touchwood*

Anu, Mel - You've said is all girls ... I just want BnB dynamic to be back. I want Booth to act like Booth ... not detached. And I want Brennan to look upto Booth as she always did - with trust and perhaps even love ...

Edit: Case in point, see them staking on the ice in your avi Anu...they look so happy ...perhaps they will never get back to being so easy around each other after their respective confessions and denials... but still I want their camaraderie to be back. This season was so disappointing on that front.
