I don't know why people bash Kekta either. Cause everyone does love the jodis she created. Its probably for messing around too much and stretching it to no extent. Lol. And your right, Ekta did revolutionize television in the biggest way possible.

On the other hand, I agree with Jhanvi too. Ekta did show a lot of wrong things too though. But the biggest difference b.w her shows and CMG is that CMG is remembered more for off screen dramas, the unprofessional actors and their cheap acts. And o also for running the show like actors were the bosses.

But its def. an insult to other actresses which is wrong. Cuz Shilpa Anand has a huge hand in Dee Emm Gee's popularity and I don't even mind saying this but KaranSG's popularity too. Cuz with her exit, other jodis weren't liked the way KaSh was liked. If Karan was so popular with Jennifer Winget, they would have gotten famous during KZK's time only. And even second time round, they didn't get that popular. Or so I feel.

And Suku too, she has a great hand in taking DMG forward and keeping many fans stuck to it. It's only with the 3rd jodi, the show came to a point of shutting down. So, I dont get the big deal about them =/

@Anu:-- awww! My closest friend in the recent times, her name is Anu too<33 I just wished her gnite and a kiss emoticon on BBM. LOL. And, voila, I agree with you too. CMG and people related to it have made non-Ekta maiyya fans turn into fans too. LOL.

love the way the familial relationships are shown. and the scenes between the leads is everything BUT trip-catch-stare boredom!

Like its said Serials back then was something else esp when those K serials were on - but ppl still remember the lead women - Tulsi, Paro, Prena even the villians like Komalika, Ansh, Trishna etc (remember them all in fondness), it was another world i guess, but no one has seen anything like DMG and what has gone on and on and off screen, so much insult to woman and marriage
