This is the first Diwali I am celebrating out-of-India, and living in a area with no Asians/Indians, I have nothing to do on Diwali..To top that, a normal working day at school. NOT FAIR.

How is gunahon ka devta - actually i shouldnt ask. Lately I have picked up 2 many shows. But anyway - what is it about?

Same. I picked up three shows, actually. Pyaar ki ye ek kahaani, Ye Ishq Haaye, and Kitni Mohabbat hai 2. Pretty good, all of them. 😳😳

ohh sidraaa its awesome,, lol 😆 mainly cause the guy in it,, but basically its about a small town in UP

there is this guy avdesh who is a major gundha,, but who ppl say is the gunahon ka devta,, and the actress is arpita,, whose dad is an engineer,, and is in love witth avdesh only by reading stuffs on him and seeing his photos,, they have never met!!!!

and then one day avdesh was running behind another goon and save arpita in this whole mess, and that was it for our hero he fell in love with girl,, and then lol

thanx guys for agreeing with wat I say......it was ok for him to let out his frustrations n he could have simply done that without pinpointing a certain someone.......that was the total no no bit......

The msg he tried to put thru the blog was indeed very noble but in that he forgot that he is doing just the same as well...........impulsive is wat I will say.......

akkyyyyy..............dont worry dear........ever since I have moved to USA........I have rather celebrated more of thanksgiving....Christmas...Halloween n all other non-desi events more then Diwali.......I end up working on Diwali day almost every year and go home in a dark street where no house are lighted up unless Diwali co mingles with Halloween or any other western celebrations........firecrackers are only visible during July 4th which happens to be USA independence day and that too only those kiddo ones......whilst the huge ones can only be sold n used in certain designated spots........

The only thing that can remind me that is indeed diwali is wen I enter my house n my mandir is decorated with lights and I have sweets made at home 😒

yea i'm watching Dil se diya vachan, baat hamari pakki hai, Sasural Genda Pool, and tere liye. I am also gonna start KMH2 - will wait for the week to be over to watch the episodes in one go. And there is also a whole separate list of American shows.

and then well the girls dad fix her marriage with a creepy guy,,, and arpita tried hard to go against her dad,, but since she didnt know if avdesh loves her too, she couldnt stop it either,, but she wrote him a letter and decided to kill herself but nt marry that creep

soo hehe in full drama,, the hero gets the letter, and rushes to save arpita,, and he marries her in her own mandap!!!!

and now the story is moving on from then!!!

Awww. But I have heard there are a LOT of Indians in America.. and even 80% of the people in IF are from USA.. So I expected it to be grand over there.. :P

Well, the thing is that I have never been that fond of firecrackers, but I certainly miss distributing gifts around and stuff.. and my friends.

oh sounds interesting - maybe will pick that up as well. I had seen some promos but was too busy to pick it up. When did it start. (I know i shouldnt watch more shows - but exams are over and i have some time on my hands) 😉
