No problem, glad you enjoyed.🤗
We don't know for sure. It just depends on which version of the scriptures you follow.😊 Since we are in the Kali Yuga, we have sooooooooooooo many scriptures, and that too different version of each one, so we just follow the one that's closest to our heart and believe what is written in it.
Some scriptures say the Ramayana happened in every Mahayuga, while other scriptures say it happened in the 24th Mahayuga, while we are now living in the 28th (just looked it up). So some people believe 28 Ramayanas happened for each Mahayuga, while others believe that only one Ramayana happened and that too in the 24th. All depends on the Purana you choose to follow.😊 My family believes the 24th Mahayuga version....we do not believe that the ramayan happened in the Treta Yuga of this Manvantara, but the Treta Yuga of the 24th Manvantara. On the other hand, it is generally agreed by most scriptures that Krishna Avatar happened in the Dwapara Yuga of this 28th Manvantara, so there was a HUGE gap between Ram and Krishna Avatar if you believe in that version, while for us, Krishna avatar was not so long ago.
By the way, in reply to your comment to Gunia, we are just discussing the various versions which talk about Sita Ma's origin. Sitaji being Ravan's daughter is written in some versions, while in others, she is not the daughter of Ravan.
Valmiki Ramayana, and also Tulsi Ramayana (Ramcharitmanas) describes Sita Ma as Ayonija, which means 'one who is not born of the womb'. So according to these versions, Sitaji could not have been born of Mandodari's womb because she was Ayonija. She merely appeared in the Earth where Raja Janak found her.
However, it is interesting how other versions describe the birth of Sita Ma. I tend to believe Valmikiji's version of Sita Ma's birth, because I see his as most accurate, and after that Ramcharitmanas (since Tulsidas is said to be a re-incarnation of Valmiki), but it's interesting to learn about the other versions out there.😊
