West Germany last won in 1990 ... 😊 Spain has never won, and Dutch also have won ... so hopefully, it's the time for Spaniards. My open love won and as the match progressed, I wanted Spain to win ... because they did play cool ... though never looked like scoring 😆

^^ true ... bt germany has played really well here ... as they did in 02 and 06 ... i really wanted them to get this break now .. plus klose has been a star of WCs and since this might be his last WC appearance i wanted him to go out on a winning note ...

but yup ... spain were spectacular today :)))

I don't think, they played spectacularly, never looked like scoring ... but yes, they played pass pass to themselves, and just did not let the German have the ball.

they were spectacular in the sense that they built the pressure ... keeping the ball possession which actually frustrated the germans ... they played a defensive game for sure .. ehat really shone thru was their experience .... these r seasoned players .... and it showed ..... they kept the cool ... built the pressure and simply waited for an oppurtunity to present itself ... which was cool ...

sitting here ... i was getting tense .... wonder what the german players were going thru :(((

yeh i felt that too ... germans peaked too soon and were left with nothing in this match ....
