@Bugs and Mru, sorry for intruding..But I thought '27 dresses' was a lot better than an average chick flick..Maybe because I have a bias for Katharine Heigl and with the skill and liveliness she plays her characters..๐Ÿ˜Š Loved her in 'The Ugly Truth' and the movie itself..It was a crazyawesome roller-coaster ride!

But yeah, 'Bride wars' sucked..๐Ÿ˜•

'Devil wears Prada' was really good though..Meryl Streep is IT..Seriously..There is nobody else to match her class, talent and personality..

Well I just felt that "27 Dresses" didnt meet the hype it had generated. The Ugly Truth was a much better movie. And i feel even "The Proposal" (sandra bullock one) was a better one.
And Hangover was the best of all ๐Ÿ˜†๐Ÿ˜†๐Ÿ˜† ....I havent watched anything funnier than this movie ever.

''Just here for a bit..'' *pouts*

Zain, with you on Anne Hathaway..Quite a talented young lady, that. She did a pretty god job in 'Becoming Jane' too -- that movie on Jane Austen-- though the movie was just OK sorts..

No idea who this Christian Slater guy is..Let me Google..

Mru, Zain, about Ian Somerhalder and Rob Lowe? Will give you two this much..๐Ÿ˜› Their jaw lines are of the same solid secsay family, yeah..Pretty! ๐Ÿ˜†

@ Bugs..Fair enough, pal..I can respect your opinion.. ๐Ÿ˜Š Even though I like Sandra Bullock more than Katherine Heigl, I liked '27 Dresses' a bit more than 'The Proposal', though 'The Proposal' was a lot of fun too..

Haven't seen 'The Hangover'

About Nicholas Cage movies? His 'National Treasure: Book of Secrets' starring Helen Mirren was quite good..Nothing great and kinda OK as a movie overall but still fun..

His 'Ghost Rider' was a nightmare and a complete disaster though.

About Nicholas Cage and John Travolta? Have been in mad love with 'Face Off' all my life for unknown and inexplicable reasons. ๐Ÿ˜† Mr. Cage and Mr. Travolta shared amazing chemistry in that movie. The church face off was one of the most brilliantly done dramatic scenes of all time, I believe, etched on the minds of us viewers for long.

BTW, I LOVEEEEE Hugh Jackman and his sexy Australian accent..He is the only Hollywood front man I get the craziness about .. I personally never understood the hype about and never found any of the likes of Leonardo Dicaprio, George Clooney and Brad Pitt hot..But Hugh Jackman is as hot as a furnace , baby. ๐Ÿ˜† Have watched only two of his movies i.e. 'Kate and Leopold' and 'Van Helsing' though..Van Helsing was utter stupidity combined with garbage..'Kate and Leopold' was sweet, and involved time freaking travel.๐Ÿ˜๐Ÿ˜† Not to forget his charming hosting stunt, Oscars 2009..That was madawesome..โญ๏ธ

Anybody else fascinated by the idea of time machines / time travel? Raise your hand..Loved 'The Time Machine' and all of that 'Back to the Future' extravaganza....Those 'Back to The Future' movies are just too good..Awesomeness! The Time Machine's second half dragged a bit too much though..

About Nicholas Cage movies? His 'National Treasure: Book of Secrets' starring Helen Mirren was quite good.
Oh i love Nicholas Cage's movies ..He is ine if teh best actors i feel. National Treasure was good without any doubt. Face off was superb. I liked his "Next " too. Though none of the others who had watched that movie with me liked it ...but somehow i liked the Vision of the movie.
His 'Ghost Rider' was a nightmare and a complete disaster though. and so was " World trade centre"...Kya soch kar gayi thi aur kya woh movie nikli ๐Ÿ˜†๐Ÿ˜†

Oh i just mentioned face off above ๐Ÿ˜†๐Ÿ˜† ....Face off is one of my favourite movies too.

BTW, I LOVEEEEE Hugh Jackman and his sexy Australian accent..He is the only Hollywood front man I get the craziness about .. Lolzzz sarah i dont like Hugh Jack man ....I m in love with Jude law ...๐Ÿ˜ณ๐Ÿ˜ณ๐Ÿ˜†...though i hardly like his movies... ๐Ÿ˜†๐Ÿ˜†๐Ÿ˜†...and u r right ....Van helsing was gibberish ๐Ÿ˜†๐Ÿ˜†๐Ÿ˜† .....i was thanking God i dint end up watching that movie in theatre and could stop the DVD midway,....Kate and leopold was a timepass though ....
But his "The Prestige" was superbbbbbbb !! What a concept that movie had ....amazing stuff ...if u haven't watched it .....do watch that movie specially cuz u r a Hugh Jackman fan ๐Ÿ˜† and even cuz the movie was excellent.

๐Ÿ˜†
Anybody else fascinated by the idea of time machines / time travel? Raise your hand..Loved 'The Time Machine' and all of that 'Back to the Future' extravaganza..

No i m not ....I hated "The time machine" I had left it half way ......It was quite a yawning experience ๐Ÿ˜†

@Bugs, Sarah , Krupsie, Zain

I love Hugh Jackman.. his accent and body is sexy .. hehehe .. He is quite funny too.. I actually enjoyed his hosting gig at the oscars.

Face-Off.. again enjoyed coz of Nicholas Cage and John Travolta .. hehe .. there is something about villains that speak while pursing their lips that I find attractive .. hehe

Bugsy.. Lord of War.. yes defo a docu-film.. watched it at home on DVD.. and was simply traumatised by it .. It makes me sick to imagine that there are ppl indulging in this for pure profit without any concern for the damage caused..

btw Bugsy.. if you liked Hangover ( which I found strictly okey .. hehe) , you might like "Death at a Funeral.. the original British movie.. not the knockoff hollywood film which is releasing now.. The British film, "Death at a Funeral" is hilarious .. though defo not a movie to watch during dinner time ... I made that mistake ..hehe

Yup.. Krupsiee I have been to the Van Helsing exhibit at Universal, Hollywood.. and the back to the future rides ..

Sarah, if you are into time machine travel and science fiction, try watching the "Dr. Who" BBC series.. it is good

Bugsy.. Jude Law? eh? Watched the Sherlock Holmes .. loved Rober Downey Jr. ( serious fan of his).. Jude Law was okey in that.. havent watched ne other Jude Law movies..

@VD: ok..i managed to watch the first 2 episodes entirely...dont mind me asking silly questions๐Ÿ˜›.. Katherine two times them, fine...so who is actually in love with her?..both Stefan n damon?..i saw some other video where i got the impression that it was Stefan who leaked out the identity of Katherine to the town folk...and that is what annoyed Damon....and btw how did these brothers turn vamps..katherine turns them? Does Damon really drink human blood?..cos in the latest dance episode..he talks about Stefan drinking it..so that means he doesn't?

Ewww @Damon n elena's mom *puke*

@pearl I did not come across...we can't say kick*** on forum?!..oopsie din't know tht.... @crushing Damons head...hahaha will have to watch this!

@elena stabbing Stefan yea i saw that!..heheh... the guy who plays Stefan has just one constant expression on his face...which is soooooo boring!

@violence loving sadists oh yea ..haha... *raises her goblet of blood n does a cheers to Sarah*...omg ok that was bad...vampire hangover...๐Ÿ˜†๐Ÿ˜†....speaking of hangover agree with Bugsyy, the hangover movie was pretty cool!

@Rob Lowe and damon ...ohh yea the face structure....btw me too liked him as Robert in Bros n Sis..

@Face Off- one of my favs!! Love that...nicolas cage n john Travolta were amazing

@time machines, time travel..me not so crazy abt that...but i did see the Back to the future it was good.....also ended up watching Butterfly Effect 2.. did not like it...maybe the first one was better haven't seen tht..

@Sandra n Katherine heigl: Sandra definitely....even liked her in that crazy miss congeniality movie

Krupz, finally free..? Let's celebrate!

*hands out everyone glasses of...what did you guys think? It aint champagne or anything sinful, it's just plain old Pina Colada..Electric lemonade for those who don't dig Pina Colada*

Have fun with your Iron Man, Krupz..Don't forget your suit of armor..:-)

And both Sands and Cats will entertain you.!.๐Ÿ˜‰

Good to have you aboard the Hugh Jackman Love Train..Dude is seriously hot..!

@ Van Helsing Castle..*smiles* That's cool, Krupzie..So did you chomp Dracula instead?

@ 'Back to the Future' car, that's even cooler..So how is the future going to be like 40 years from now, Baba KrupDaas? Did that disastrous 'Love Story 2050' get anything right in showing the future?

@ Visiting the parks..Suggestion taken, baby..Would love to..

@ Going there again..Your summer break has started, na? Counting the days? Have lots of fun..

AWESOMEEEEE to see you back in action..๐Ÿค—

Bugs, @ Hangover..Your enthusiasm about the movie is kinda sweet..๐Ÿ˜Š I can take comedy in most of its forms but sometimes movies go overboard in the name of comedy, which aint my thing..Will first have to check the trailers out..๐Ÿ˜›

Ahan, haven't seen "Next"..Haha @ 'World Trade Centre'..Aisa kya? Have no idea about the movie..But yeah, 'Face Off' was honestly awesome and Nicholas Cage is quite an actor..Some serious acting prowess there!

Haha..I do remember your fixation with Jude Law..I think he was very good looking once even if I have never been a fan..Watched bits of his 'Breaking and Entering' and 'The Holiday'..There was nothing special about these movies but I can see why his fans must be charmed. He is a very good actor anyway.

Maham recommended "The Prestige' too..Will definitely check it out..

Haha @ yawning..Yeah, it was quite slow-paced..

Mru, yeah, he is quite witty. It was the combination of Hugh Jackman's sense of humor, personality, those ruggedly handsome features on that face and of course, his accent that won me over.๐Ÿ˜๐Ÿ˜†

@ Villains speaking with pursed lips. Hee!

@ ''Dr. Who.'' Thanks for the suggestion, Mru..Will get to watch it in the coming 10-15 years if I plan to, I'm sure, considering my TV schedule..๐Ÿ˜†

Maz, I too am desperately in love with that Rafa video..*joins Maz in praying that Rafa will emerge as the winner of Roland Garros..Fingers, toes and hopes crossed*

Questions are the key to more knowledge, so never silly, Maz..*says in a fake philosophic tone* ๐Ÿ˜†
Will get to your vampire related queries in a bit..Let me gather my thoughts..*look of deep concentration*

Eh eh @ kicka**..Was just being cheeky @ 'kickback'..But well, the forum does have some rules..๐Ÿ˜‰

@ Pearl..She'll emerge in the later half of the season..In your episodic timeline, she's currently resting in the 'Tomb of the Dead/Undead(?)'

WORD to what you said about Stefan! From cradle to grave, he will stand by that single pained expression..That's his sole purpose for being anyway..

Ha ha ha! @ goblet of blood..I think we should have a bowl of ice cream each to shake the vampire effect.

Yeah, Rob Lowe did a pretty fine job as Robert, now that you mention the character's name..

Loving all the 'Face Off' lovefest.๐Ÿ˜†

I too LOVED the dance to the Arabic(?) tune in 'The Ugly Truth'..Burning chemistry, there!
I find Gerard Butler really funny..He seems to be enjoying an inside joke all the time somehow..๐Ÿ˜†

Haven't seen 'P.S: I Love you' or 'Butterfly Effect' ..

Saw the video you shared..Liked the beats of the song which started around 1:15 and lasted till the end..Eh eh, everyone went mad at one point or another during that video..That tune begs for dancing, asks for it..๐Ÿ˜†

Maz, here are your 'vampiric' answers..I never paid this show much mind before today..๐Ÿ˜† Nice lil mental exercise..

Both of Stefan and Damon were in love with Katherine in that old era. (But aint it cute that our Secsay Devil is the only one who still seems to be devoted to her/her memories after all this time? I think that's one of the qualities which show that a part of the devilish Damon is still a softie..) Anyways, Damon blamed Mr. I-am-a-bore for Katherine's supposed entombment because Stefan was the indirect cause of her downfall. The authorities were hunting vampires during those times and their Dad started suspecting Katherine was a vampire because of Stefan's stupid and oh-so-naive attempts in the name of all that is 'lowe' to convince him of something like the possibility of 'nice' vampires. Daddy Salvatore kinda mixed vervain (the herb which works against vampires ) in Stefan's food as bait to check/confirm this lovely lil piece of info/doubt. When Katherine was with Stefan and drank his blood, the vervain in it caused her to lose her senses kinda..Their father barged in and told Stefan to bring the sheriff. Being the submissive types he obeyed after some initial protest and Damon arrived on the scene and saw that, hence the blame.

I don't think Katherine sired / turned her toyboys on purpose. I don't remember exactly but I think this has never been addressed in detail on the show. Or maybe this was explained in the form of Brother Boring's monologue to Elena, and I wasn't paying attention..Anyways, it's probable that before the time of Katherine's entombment, Katherine had drunk from both the brothers and fed them her blood in return, and they died in the middle of the mayhem caused by capturing and entombing all those bloodsuckers..In the creepy and insane world of VD, if a human dies soon after feeding gross vampire blood, the blood will save them temporarily and they'll need to drink a mere mortal's blood to survive death and become a vampire once they wake up. The Devil and the Bore must have made that choice after waking up, drunk from humans and lived not-so-happily ever after..That's how Damon and Stefan became vampires, I think, indirectly sired by Katty Dearest..

Maz, Damon does drink human blood, but he aint achieving that task by directly feeding from humans anymore..He probably gets the blood from a far away blood bank or something like that..But he has always drunk human blood, one way or the other..

And BTW, I read what you wrote in your birthday thread about those old posts..*touched*๐Ÿค—
