Although, in Paulo's case, I think it is intentional--which is why he can express so much by saying so little. All the while maintaining the complexity of an array of topics/emotions which he expresses in a sequence of natural regressions (ie. returning to a premative state of mind--like Plato's tabula rasa) IMO., thus explaining the awkwardness.

Also...all this talk about surrealism--I absolutely LOVE Salvador Dali (fav. surrealist painter)❤️.

Bella ji,
I think you are the one representing Yale 😊.

Let me go and read up on Salvador Dali.

Huh? How so? 😆 (but thank you😳....that is the BIGGEST compliment of the century😳...but I still don't understand what made you say that).

From time to time there are a couple pieces of Salvador Dali at the Guggenheim and I'm captured instantaneously (I was first introduced to his art when I was in 5th grade, and since then I have determined to own one of his original art pieces someday😳).

Also, you might find his work unusual.

That is what I wanted to say as well... I am starting to feel ignorant. I don't even have a favourite surrealist painter... 😛

Frau Blot-to-be is similarly engrossed with Gustav Klimt... I, on the other hand can't even begin to understand what it is that she sees... 😕

That is really cool... I should put this up in the first post, and Pinki can be designated as the official link provider! ⭐️

Ah…Gustav--he came much ahead of Dali. Although, I don't think Gustav could be quite considered surrealist. Since the surrealism started a bit before WWI (I think).

Although, I know we were not introduced to Gustav's work until high school…in middle school the guys would have had a field day with his work!😆

I would really like it if somebody confirms to me whether the English translation of the Quran sounds stylistically similar... I have wanted to know this for sometime. Perhaps RW can tell us when she drops by again... ⭐️

Oh come on....Tabula Rasa is a very popular theory of Plato (ONLY drilled into us since middle school....up until my undergrad. And I know it will VERY WELL appear again in grad. school). 😆

Don't worry...I wont become militant on any of you guys (Horatius is off topic)😉

I was taught at a very young age to have an appreciation for art (very rarely taught in Indian school though I believe). Although, I still can not deferential b/w certain elements of style--but do very well in fact KNOW my favorite artists😃
