WORD, Sarah! Although I detest Armaan just as well, but the guy would have never abused Ridhimma like that. His 'urges' surely lead into some agressive measures, but not this!
The only reason I was watching DMG was cause Sid-Ridz scenes used to entertain me. Although I found them silly and disgusting, nevertheless the fact that their scenes didn't used to stress my mind worked for me. But this is too much. What Sid is doing can never be justified. He could have just given her a silent treatment or could have behaved rudely with her, but humiliating her, abusing her and asking her to clean his shoes? WTF!!!!
And Ridz....she is disgusting me as well. Why on earth is she going 'aap' 'suniye' and all that with him? The creatives are such creeps🤢
I used to find them entertaining too, sometimes for ROFL purposes and sometimes genuinely. But now things have gone too far. Sid's antics are extremely disturbing but Riddhima's response to his behaviour is more degrading to women. What REALLY bothers me is that this show is aimed at the youth. They're basically reinforcing those pathetic ideas on the young girls that watch it. If this was a saas-bahu show then it wouldn't be such a big deal because their target audience is mature enough to tell fiction from reality. Young minds on the other hand are quite impressionable. WTF were the creatives thinking?
This show was better off when it thrived on mindless buffoonery, fire escape romances and out of place song sequences. The current junk is so damn offensive. To think I actually posted in the SR appreciation thread last night. I hadn't seen this weeks scenes at that point and looked forward to discussing the couple with its fans. But the recent moments haven't left me with anything but negative remarks to say, and I don't want to rain on the SR fans' parade out of respect. So I'm gonna stay out of it for a while I guess.

Hi Sarah *hugs*
BTW are you following Laado? I stopped watching during that Sonali non-sense but after I read the TB article, I started watching it again. I must say I like how the creatives of that show are handling Raghav-Sia romance- it is delicate, sweet and actually romantic & the BG music is awesome, plus I LOVE the way Raghav looks at Sia, that dude who plays Raghav is enacting these scenes so well.....
Did you watch the scene where they almost slept together? And their hug the morning after? It was so classy and poignant! This is probably the only couple I know that are still endearing despite their ugly history together. Hats off to the creatives for making their love so believable!
