Eyes slowly opened as if in a daze,

I drank in the marvel with my hungry gaze

Slowly I took in the beauty of the morn

Roses nestled on the fences and thorns.

The sparrow called and quickly I hurried

Gazelles daintily behind me scurried

I skipped along the shiny golden sands

That bordered the vast forestlands.

The wrens and larks flew high in the sky

Together with a thousand swans flying by

Soon I came upon a still quiet lake

Where frogs hopped and ripples did make

"Come start your work and tardy no more!

And paint a pretty picture - of that be sure"

White little rabbits came out of their burrow

In thought my brows creased in a furrow

Tell me my friends, how do I colour?

I must give my best to return an honour

Said the row of flowers near the blue lake.

The Gulmohurs gave me their tassles for a brush

And flowers sent their vivid petals to crush

To make magical dyes that were bright and heady

The paints on my palette were soon to be ready.

On my picture I put strokes of pink

To soften my outlook and the way that i think

To give you joy, happiness and exultation

The help came from the roses and carnations

Fiery red flames leapt from the tree

Flashing and slashing and laughing with glee

Lending a touch of vibrant flamboyance

Tulips hibiscus and poppies were in abundance

zindagi ke is canvas pe ..tere bikhere yeh rang..mera salaam hai tumko..

watan ki mati choom lena meri taraf se ae sakhi saat samunder ke paar se mera salaam hai tumko

phoolon ke rang,panchi ke geet bachpan ka sawan aur udi ghata yaad aayi mujhe aaj teri baaton se ae sakhi...

hamesha rahein dosti ki dor se bandhe..jeewan le jaye humko kisi bhi mod pe lekin..

hum hamesha man mein ek doosre ke rahein..

mere janam din pe..

itne pyaar se tum ne jo likha..

teh dil se..shukariya...

samet ke man ke kone mein..rakha hai tere khat ko aaj..

i have cleared a space in corner of my mind....to keep all poems u have written for me
