@Lalitaji. This the rough translation for you of my conversation with Gunia pre Holi. It is merged translation of two messages with rearranged order and without emoticons (as I typed and copied from word file) with 10% additions/modifications and 20% off topic parts skipped:

"ACTUALLY I HAD LATE REALIZATION OF THE REASON OF THE DISPLAYED NAME OF YOUR PROFILE ARUN-DEEPS. NOW I HAVE UNDERSTOOD. TUBELIGHT.

I liked the informal calling from your side very much. And your writing is also very creative and entertaining. Now I also try to make my writing slightly colourful getting inspiration from you.

First thing is that how can you call yourself ordinary person? That is not possible or applicable for any fan of Ramayan serial. Second thing is about 'Pranaam' matter. The reason of myself returning 'Pranaam' against 'Pranaam' even to youngers sometimes Yudhishthir – Gajendra Chauhan's style in BRC MB. He is also shown replying with Pranaam to his younger brothers which I am influenced by. And sometimes I call the second person by greater respect pronoun 'Aap' instead of 'Tum' due to my habit from the beginning as that is the usual custom in our family & caste also. In a random manner, I do use both words informally. And both are great and adorable if they come out straight from the heart. One indicates Respect (aap) and one indicates Love (tum). Pretty much like the way we call sometimes Ram and sometimes Ramji naturally.

I am also a very big admirer of Arun Govil and I watched his movie 'Saawan ko aane do' and also the serial 'Vikram-Betaal' – but both after watching Ramayan. For the first time, I had the fortune of watching his acting in Ramayan only when it was originally shown on Doordarshan at the age of 5. Since then, we had video cassettes at home which I have watched hundreds of times. Now we have VCDs. I only like a bit less to watch the scenes in which Arun Govil had to cry in the role of Shri Ram but the specialty of his performance for me was his maturity & calmness. Not too many, but a few memories of childhood are there related to Ramayan serial. I (Along with family) have watched myself from the far distance the shooting of the scene somewhere around Kevat scene (or perhaps when Nishadraj leaves the trio at Yamuna river). I saw Ram-Lakshman-Sita in their light orange apparels on the other side of the river from the opposite side and they were walking away from the river towards Rajpipala forests (So their faces were not visible either way – due to the distance and also the fact that they were facing the opposite direction but at such a small age, I felt huge excitement). That was neither Ganga nor Yamuna but Narmada riverbank opposite of the Badrikaashram temple we visited near the village ChaNod/Chandod in then called Bharuch district of Gujarat state. To be able to see the Post Kevat scene shooting was a very rare co-incidence considering from the point of view of Probability theory. Firstly, entire crew coming for shooting in our state. Secondly, we going on the same day to the very temple for pilgrimage opposite to which the same was to take place. And moreover, only Bal-kand episodes were shown on TV by then, the interesting thing is that the excitement and popularity were still so high as if the entire serial was over and had become world famous.

Then I also saw the place/studio where the shooting of early forests scenes was made – around the song 'Vidhna tere lekh'. That was in Mumbai while being part of a general MUMBAI DARSHAN BUS trip offered to public. At that time, the land of the place actually was such which would remind us the line – 'Phoolon se charano me kaante'.

After the completion of the serial (original telecast), there was one monthly Gujarati magazine named 'JEE', in which there were off screen and onscreen photos & interviews of all big or small actors – their likes & dislikes – and insider production/Making of the serial information of facts. Technical information about Hanumanji flying scenes, arrow clashing techniques etc special effects secrets were also there in that. But unfortunately that magazine is not there with me now (Lost before many years from the house as I was too small at that time to think about preserving it).
I checked out Google for 'Jee' special edition of Ramayan after posting that point over here. I could only find latest edition of 'Jee' online in 'Chitralekha.com' website and not the archives. As far as I am able to recall, there were photographs of Arun Govil, Mukesh Rawal, Arvind Trivedi taking meal in the studio canteen together; Shyamsundar's (Sugreev) photo along with his interview was that of shouting 'Har har Mahadev'. Rajshekhar's (Jambuvan) human off screen photo was also there. I remember one page full scanner of Arvind Trivedi (not shown in the serial) without crown & chariot & sheild (open body like the song 'Yahi rat antim') but with bows in the hand with wounds of the second last night smiling & waiting to shoot the arrow in the open field. Hanumanji's two side by side photos of Dronagiri journey with all technical procedure explanation – one on the left hand side standing on the refrigerator and one on the left actual with the background below his legs merging with the colour of the background above him. Then explanations of how the tails and monkey faces were made of rubber (Perhaps also along with their approximate number along with number of extras/warriors and number of weapons used for shooting) and crocodile was made. All such small and big production details.

Then there is one more memory. Around 1988, when there were elections in the country, both Deepika and Arvind Trivedi stood for BJP from Gujarat in our city only and their promotion rally passed just a half km away from our home. Irony is that Arun Govil was Congress supporter. Arvind Trivedi is a big devotee of lord Ram and he used to sit beside the local famous singer of Sundar Kand Ashwini Pathak when they used to read/sing Sunder Kand at public or private places in our town. I have also seen Deepika and Arvind Trivedi in a few Gujarati movies. Arvind Trivedi also acted along with his brother Upendra Trivedi in negative role in the movie 'Jangal me mangal' of Kiran Kumar-Praan.

I have VCDs of 'Sony music' and there are few changes made in it as compared to the original telecast which was there in our video cassettes. In VCDs, now I don't have following two songs – 'Dekhan nagar bhoop sut aaye' and 'Ram darbaar hai jag saaraa' (Also 'Ghee ke divadaa jalaao chahu ore'). Only one line of Rajyaabhishek comes – 'Raja Ramji ki jay' and then straightaway Tulsidasji's ending doha and serial ends. But I remember both songs completely and can anytime listen to them in my ears automatically just by remembering them as they are. So it doesn't make much difference now. I had only heard the HINDI modified Ahalya song (both in video cassette and VCDs) – 'Shri Ram charan ke sukhad sparsh se'. I had never heard the song based on original RCM choupai completely – 'Parsat pad paawan' until this year. I was amazed and confused when I was told about that song by our Orkut community member Harishprasad. I heard that for the first time in the MP3 file sent by him through mail and then I saw the youtube video here a few days ago in the older FC on 'Vishnu Stuti' song page on the day on which 'Vishnu stuti' picture was posted to confirm whether its lyrics are posted or not. I like the HINDI version of the song only because of the fact that I heard it first, heard again & again and memorized it since my childhood."

Jai Shri Krishna.

@ Parina

My laptop could only download and show me from your earliest post yesterday the picture of peacock feather with all 4 Krishna actors. That is awesome. Excellent. 👏

@Shivang,
Wow, thanks so much for translating that!👏👏👏 I can tell it took a lot of time, so I reallly really appreciate it! Wow, it must have been spectacular to have witnessed those scenes and seen Deepika and Arvind Trivedi up close! I wish I could have seen that!😍 And thanks a bunch for the information of how they used the technology they had back then, that's really cool.
By the way, my Ramayan DVDs are the same. After "Raja Ramchandra Ki Jai!" it cuts to Tulsidas's closing lines. What the editors did was that they edited that song out of the original Ramayan and put it in the Luv Kush DVDs instead, because my Luv Kush DVD starts off with that song.

Aww, thanks so much Loli!🤗 Glad you like them and are snagging them!😳 Lol, I admit the Bhagawad Gita one was inspired by the discussion we were having in the DM😆, but I found that pic of SiyaRam this morning that I just had to use it fast. Isn't the pic so beautiful?😍 And I love that quote from BG.
