Well, 3 Idiots is actually based on the book "FIVE POINT SOMEONE" by Chetan Bhagat. From what I've heard, the producer/director made Chetan sign a contract to use his book's story. The contract probably would've also said how they're only gonna credit him at the end which he didn't read (maybe) and signed the contract blatantly. At that time, I think the producers told him that they are changing most of the script so I guess the author agreed to let em do it. So, now Bhagat is trying to get his due credit but one of the producers actually lashed on him saying that he is just trying to get publicity even Amir Khan said the same and he claims that 3 Idiots isn't a copy when he hasn't even read the book! 😳 Anyways, as Adi mentioned above, many scenes are said to be the exact copy of the book.

It feels great to have a month off after the fall semester, but next semester on Tuesdays and Thursdays, I have University from 8 am to 9 pm. WTHeck?
