Abuse of LIKE button + Uninvited guests: NOTE:Pg 9

I'm not speaking about myself here ;-) But, this topic has to do with members that are NOT part of the CC, especially a CC that states "Invite Only" yet these members click on the "LIKE" button on the posts. That seems really creepy and weird to me, if you want to stalk, then stalk silently without clicking on the "LIKE" button, folks. I don't encourage stalking, but that is all I can say. Also, I have to mention another point some of the members that are NOT part of the CC have been known to quote posts of the CC around. Is that even fair? Why are they quoting posts when they are NOT part of the CC?

Picture this: A intruder in your house watching all your activities or invading your house without any invitation. How would that feel? Should this even be allowed? I encourage every single member to post on this matter. No personal attacks will be tolerated.

I think mods of the CC section are doing an AWESOME job trying to keep the section clean and posting warnings when necessary, yet I feel that this rule needs to be added, as part of the CC rules. What are your thoughts on this matter?

It's absolutely detestable, and no, it shouldn't be allowed. We always joke that some member from IF may have installed hidden cameras in our house, but at this point, I wouldn't doubt it. 😆 The problem isn't the like button, but rather, the 'search' button. I mean, someone posts a topic in another forum, some members don't agree with, so they decide to 'research' your character, stalk your posts to find out that you're a member of a Chat Club. They then gather their group of cohorts, and crash your thread, always observing, watching, keeping a record, screenshots an whatnot. I'm sorry, but that's DOWNRIGHT CREEPY, DANGEROUS, and PSYCHOTIC. This is actual a mental disease, no jokes.

Has IF became a haven for the socially inept, frothing mouthed quaterwits, who have no lives and no jobs? I don't think anyone would feel safe in posting in such an environment.

Thanks a lot for posting, Soha! I agree something really needs to be done about the search button, since a member hits search finds all the posts, and starts quoting them around. It's really rude. If they have a problem with any of us, then they can always choose to PM us, but instead they stalk the posts and post them all around. None of us are embarrassed by these posts, and we are proud to be part of the CC, yet the quoting is incredibly annoying.

Monica, we've brought these issues to Vijay's attention many times, but alas, nothing was done about it, and I feel nothing will be. I'm just appalled as to how shameless and undignified some people could be. Why would you want to make an appearance somewhere where you know that you are not wanted?

Umm i consider it a breach of privacy when somebody comes from another forum and stalks me all the way to a CC and reads every post of mine and discusses it elsewhere...

but I-F is a free forum! and the "My Post" button has made I-F stalker friendly...

I took this issue up the higher authorities...but...........
