Foxy, right now I'm reading Atlas Shrugged by Ayn Rand. I absolutely love her work; she also wrote The Fountainhead which is how I heard of her.

Nimmi recommended the following three:

House of Spirits by Isabel Allonde.
The Beauty Myth by naomi Wolf.
The Space Between Us by Thrity Umrigar.

She wrote what they were about too, but I did not write that down. The Beauty Myth is sociology-related and I love Soc. so I am dying to read that one!

I have not read the one you're talking about, what is it about?

I had The Fountainhead a while back, but never got around to reading it. I haven't read anything in a while, save for ULOB, but the last I read was Catch 22, and that has been my favorite ever since. I read it on my trip to New York, and I was literally in tears from laughing so hard.

I have heard of House of Spirits, perhaps I will check that one out. Nimmi does have impeccable taste in both films and books. What is Atlas Shurgged about?
