@Aarti: I have to live up to the nautanki LOL

@Anu: Debby said she will try her level best to prevent the first date's OTT-ness LOL! I am praying for Debby's success.......

@Anu: About today's ep... In the last scene, the only thing she said was "Rukaavat ke liye khed hai", but that too in such a sharmeeela way, the whole effect was lost. I dont know if that's Rati's fault or the character's. :S

LOL you want me to write a scene??? Lmao, I don't have that many ideas.... It's just N's reactions that are looking a lil misplaced to me... I get that the pinky finger scene mein she's all :O and looks at him.... I'm guessing thats the first time he's made a move.... The rain scene, her running away/him chasing her, again, acceptable, coz really, it's been like a day since they confessed, they're not going to stand there and make out near some chai ka thelaaa.... In the precap, when they fall, I love it the part where the two are just lying next to each other, grinning. My only problem is her "OUCH!" kinda face when he slips his hand over hers.... It reminds me of Madhuri's OUCHHHHHHHH in "dhak dhak karne laga".... I would have liked it better if her smile just got wider, and she held his hand back/maybe interlinked her fingers with his or something..... He's already held her hand in the pinky scene, so why get all *ahem* now? Coz there are 4 more fingers than last time? Kindaaaaaaaa stoooopid. :/

@Aarti: In that case the cooking scene was suggested primarily for MN but it was used on SG but we did not complain did we? Because it looked like the scene suited SG more than MN! The title song goes "suhaane weather main miley jab hum tum" when M is holding an umberella for N , so the rain HAD to go with MN anyway, besides its not like the rain and hand holding idea is original to begin with

@ kavya....just look at the SG fans on the CJ thread, if one raises her voice, all of them do in chorus to give her support.

i think the point that nobody wants quantity is lost on PD. i do feel very sorry for SG fans, because they have pulled this special friend track of SG so long that it may be near impossible to create the kind of chemistry required of a romantic couple between them! they may end up looking like old married couples do when they finally get together!

is it that hard to strike a qualitative balance between two lead couples in a show?

true that they aren't particularly original sequences, rain and the hand hold...and if it is true that cooking was suggested for MN but used on SG, then why complain. though Mn did cook together at lucky's or chunky's or whichever perverted brother that was...

@Nimmi: I think I can understand N's frazzling when M places his hand on hers- see, she NEVER dreamt that Mayank is someone who would hold hands and romance a girl, when he first held her pinky she was surprised and when he placed his hand on hers, she was even more surprised for she did not expect him to be so physically expressive and Nupur was yet to get over the surprise of the first gesture when he made his second move . She just needs sometime to get to used to the idea that Mayank is also romantic in his own way!

@ nimmi...will give that to you...yes a wide, look at my not so aligned teeth grin from nupur would've been better than her 'ouch' expression as you so eloquently put it...however, am not entirely displeased with the ouch-ness of it all too. i will maintain that the goosebumpyness of the scene mandated the look. in fact from what we can see of the promo and the precap, that seems to be the only goosebumpy moment! look at it this way...they've had fun, jumped and danced around in the rain, something our staid mayank would never do, lie down happily exhausted and then mayank holds her hand as if to tell her, you make me understand what fun is all about. that is a reassurance of sorts for the nautanki nupur. that she, as she is, is valued by mayank!

Hi Vini!

@Aarti: But MN's cooking scene was not as cool as SG's- both were good in their own way!

However, I have to agree with you- the whole special friendship thing between S and G was so stretched. They NEED to work on building the chemistry between SG, else their love looks platonic!
Ironic, isn't it? They make one couple too physical without proper build up of friendship n bond that we think it is more lust than love and on the other, they make the other couple soooooo friendly that we feel they will end up being platonic lovers

That's exactly what I was wondering. Plus, it's not just the fact that he held her hand in the pinky scene. They've hugged and held hands before. They were in close proximity to each other while rehearsing/performing for the talent parade and the play. Just because they're now a couple shouldn't mean it's suddenly a big deal for them to get closer (physically speaking). If anything, they should be more open to the physical stuff now that they've moved past the friendship stage. Jo cheez dosti mein jayaz hai woh pyaar mein kyon nahi?

Hi Viniva, Aarti and Kavya! :-)
