Sonu, Tom Cruise signed a new film with Cameron Diaz-- Witchita. It's going to be a romantic film, and it sounds absolutely horrendous. I know that Cruise was searching for a romantic film for a while, after Jerry Maguire, but this is the best he came up with it? There's one project in particular, which he was attatched to for a while. IT's based on a novel called 'Carter Beats the Devil' and it's about a magician who accidentally kills the President. I've read the book, and it was absolutely astounding. It would have made for an amazing film, given a great screenplay, but I can't believe Cruise let it go. He had maintained such a great streak of films.

I want to be a supportive fan, but I'm not blind. This movie sounds like crap and I think it's a huge mistake. It's going to suck, I can feel it. But then again, people told him not to do Magnolia, and I think it's one of the greatest films of the decade.
