well there is no set way of doing it... there are various methods...

Overview and then you can split up the app and write it that way.. that is if its a three tier app then explain the requirements of each tier... otherwise another way is just have the Overview and Goals and then come up with the use case scenarios.. If you can do UML diagrams etc.. taht might be a good idea to this..

The phd student asked me to do the requirements doc...cause it's actually his project(I'm working on a small part of a really big project)...but he never said anything about what he wants, he basically mailed me today saying write a requirement doc 😕

The past few months I've been doing requirements for this project that I've been working on.. basically Functional specs... bless u hun...hate this part..specially when everything is so unclear 😕
