my prob is : I straighten my hair with a CHI and you know it straightens but It burns and gives me split ends I'm scared cause it might stop growing and I asked my mom and she got me the protection spray but itss not working and I have horrible split ends . So what can I do to still keep straightening my hair an dit will not burn ? How do I get rid of my split ends?

Like almost everyday cause I wash my hair everyday Then either straighten it or curl it but both with hair irons. rarely though I keep my normal hair cause I put gel in it to keep it down and pretty.
