@Anu: Do you attend Magnet school? What's the difference between those and traditional public schools?
Its sort of a magnet school, but it is public still...You have to be interviewed and what not to come in...My high school is different from the other 3 high schools in our district...Its different curriculum and way of learning basically....
In mine, we have to do independent learning, it prepares us for Uni and stuff...We have teachers to help out though...to give lectures every once in a while...
In other high schools, teacher teaches you and you do a sheet of homework a day...But in mine, we get a packet of assignments due every week....and we work independently on them for the school week...
its basically a different way of learning...
