Anu, I agree - the Gaurav/Heer plot makes no sense whatsoever. If there wasn't such a dearth of good-looking guys on Indian TV as of late (minus Arjun Bijlani of course), I wouldn't be so keen to watch Harshad. I don't have a problem with Kis Desh ending. In fact, I hope Star Plus does shut it down so that I can cross another show off my list and Harshad can move on to better things.

Aww Zainab, I understand what you feel as a Prem/Heer fan because like you said, being a Prem/Mukti fan I hated the Devki track. But I think he will turn out to be Prem eventually. Star is ending Ekta's shows left, right and center, so she'll probably do everything she can to hold the viewers' interest in Kis Desh. Unlike KZK, Kis Desh doesn't have any other sub-plots that would run the show ... so Ekta has to depend on P/H.

@Zainab: LOL wowww you have quite an attachment to PH, haina?? Yeah, I already kinda guessed from the siggies :P....Well, I'm not really going to say much more on Heer and her acting since I'm sure you're probably aware given your jaasoosi skills ;-) hahaha


And well I don't really have much of an opinion on Gaurav either since this whole show is totally senseless...Harshad is doing a good job of portraying an anti-thesis of Prem though.

Waise do you realize, Mukti was the only female lead Kekta ever killed....she usually kills the male leads and brings in their duplicates......with Mukti, it was different...and they were the most unique plot after that also with the way they showed Prem frozen in shock.....even though that was a painful phase to watch, acting wise, it was just brilliant!

Can't say the same sadly for Heer's 'grief' phase :P.....

I'm pretty sure Kis Desh will shut down soon enough....Kekta has not learnt her lesson, sad to see.....her shows still continue to churn out the same crap.....Kis Desh is heading nowhere right now and Harshad's popularity will not sustain it for that long....no actor is ever bigger than the basic storyline of the show which runs out sooner or later.

Oh and KMH I dunno the girl ya is a lot better than most of the k heroines in the early days... she can act and is kinda cute... but the guy... gosh he is umm a bit I dunno how to put it .. I just catch it off and on while changing channels.. but ya as Anu said it has some unintentional comedy bhi lol

@Zainab: LOL yeah, I think most PH fans haven't followed KZK.....I do think it was a much better show than Kis Desh even at it's worst....lol....ah well.....Prem-Mukti were just something else...*sigh*


Anyways, I watched the Filmfares this weekend as well....man, what a pakaau show....I dunno why I bothered....damn the boredom...

Ranbir has gotten sooooo annoying! Ughh! Why is he so hyper and overacting all the time??? :S Most of the jokes were falling flat only.....And what was up with the weird OTT prostrating on the floor randomly?? :S

I liked the excitement of the OLLO team each time they'd win an award.....LOL....kinda reminded me of the SM team at the Oscars and all other Hollywood awards shows....only the underdogs show that kind of excitement when they win an award.....hahaha.....and I loved that kid Manjot's speech....LOL, he was hilarious! Thank you Principal sir! haha

SRK kinda horrified me in b/w when he maaroed a 'joke' about the expression he had rehearsed for when Om Puri got his lifetime achievement award.....very bad in taste....he never knows when to draw the line, really.....SOME things should be respected atleast! God! I'd like to believe he was on pain medication and thus delirious that he made such a stupid comment....lol

I've watched this without sound but still it's so sad to see the little cute bits they showed of Arjun-Rati goofing around in b/w shots to now the way Arjun looks so pale with that sling on him.....his eyes look all sunk in😕....but he's got a sense of humor about the thing I guess since he's laughing around in b/w as well😆

I really do hope he gets well soon!

Mine was pretty boring, except I went to get my eyebrows done for the sixth time in the past four years. I do not go very often, and for a good reason. I HATE it. I absolutely HATE it. And, this clip is one of the many reasons why I ADORE Joey, because I can totally relate to him.

I would much rather get hit by a bus, or jump down 30 feet from a building, but getting eyebrows done is just EEEEEEEEEEEK. I HATE it. I really don't complain all that much about being in pain, in fact I have pulled through quite a few incidents, but eyebrowsss is just horrible! Because, every time I go, the whole world tells me that it gets better after the first few times, and since I don't go very often, I'm very much HOPEFUL sitting there thinking, "Better". I'm on the sixth time now, and it never ever gets better! I went yesterday afternoon to get them done, and everything was fine when I went, I was all positive thinking "It will be much better this time." But the lady started, and all I could think of was *BEEP* *BEEP* 🤬 since I couldn't exactly scream my lungs out, I spent every second thinking how I could get my hands on the thread, and start PLUCKING the female's eyebrows too! 😡 She took her own sweet time too, and was pretty brutal in all the plucking. I hated it. When I walked out my forehead was entirely swollen, and red. Did I mention I HATE it?? So yeah, I went home, and applied ice, and it's still pretty much swollen. And, the thing I don't even like my look after I get them done, I would much rather walk around with bushy eyebrows, than go. I know what the hell am I saying, but it is safe to assume at this point I'll not be walking in that parlour for a year or unless I absolutely have to get them done and there is no other way out!

Sarah, if you saw a short girl with a swollen forehead. That was ME. lol.

Anu, I agree, that SRK joke did not settle too well with me either. His wife is right, not many people can understand his jokes.
