lol yea im almost 19 soon, and marriage is something im not even thinking about, its wayy farr beyond my plans!!! its a life long commitment and im not just going to get hooked up with someone i dont even know, and make the rest of my life with them!!

i just think marriage is something that should never be forced on u at all!! u have to be prepared about it, and i think u should talk with ur parents, im sure they want ur happiness, so u gotta let them know that u wont be happy if u were married off so soon!

@ Saira : I'm gonna faint before you. I can imagine how it must be like for you. For me, personally, marriage is a word that makes me cringe. I am not against it, but I'll take this major step only when I am mentally prepared & financially secure, even if it means getting married at 35.

Feel really bad for you hun :(

This society can never let girls retain their innocence, this age is not meant for you to be sad about your marriage, it's meant for you to think about your career & your life.

heyy...man 1.5 yrs is like nothing.

i feel that you should talk to your mom as shes perhaps the best person who can understand this.

also i have nothing against arrange marriages, bu ti mean you have to know a little bit about the guy..and most importantly you have ot be satisfied yourself.

you can half like an engagement or something if that's allowed and then see if you are really willing to spend the rest of your life with that person.

i say rest of your life because well to be honest in our culture its seen that once a girl marries, she has to spend her entire life with that person.
