as for the levels, just drag the Black/Middle/White sliders until u get the right numbers. IT should look similar to where they are in the tut.

I was wondering if anyone is willing to teach me how to make video avis? not the hard way - taking loads of caps but the other way like just cropping the video maybe. For Animation Shop 3. I'm not sure wht ur asking...once u dl ur video u open it open in Windows Movie Maker and u have to take caps from it...that's the way to do it. There are some softwares out there that offer to take automatic caps but they are not free...the free trials generally put a watermark on there too...

Please always say what program you're using becuz we can't really help you otherwise.

What was the original video's quality? If it was like that as well, than there is really no way to fix that. It was not like that, then it might be becuz of the optimization (which we can't do much about either since bother animation shop and image ready do automatic optimization). You can make the number of frames smaller and that will decrease the file size which will improve quality.
