Finally when kriya's cab stopped in front of swayam's house, all friends jumped out of the house and raced towards kriya screaming. Neha was the first one to reach kriya.
"Kriya my loveee..I missed you so muchhh" neha hugged kriya screaming and jumping..
One by one everyone hugged kriya and said welcome back. Meanwhile swayam paid the cab and bharath took out kriya's luggage from cab. That's when swayam got the chance to hug kriya.
"I missed you kriya. Finally you are here with me. I am so happy" says swayam rocking back and forth hugging kriya.
" same here. Missed you a lot. Finally I will join your college and study with you" kriya says little guiltily because she left two years back suddenly making swayam upset. That time he was very excited about kriya and himself studying together again.
"Hey kriya. Welcome back" says Sharon nervously. Because Sharon and kriya were like two opposite poles. Both never used to tolerate each other. Verbal fight was there way to communicate. Kriya always used to scold swayam for having crush on such a self centered girl which Sharon didn't like a bit. But things have changed since a year when finally swayam proposed Sharon and she became swayam's girlfriend. In fact swayam made Sharon and kriya talk to each other on phone few times. But apart from awkward "hello how are you? I am good", they never talked anything. So it's clear that both, kriya and Sharon would maintain a short and decent conversation between each other just for swayam.
But kriya being kriya " hey Sharon. Thanks" saying hugged Sharon shocking everyone. Which made Sharon happy because Sharon so badly wanted to befriend with kriya forgetting past fights since kriya is swayam's twin sister. Everyone from swayam's family have met Sharon and approved her to accept as their family member except kriya. This is the first time they are meeting after Sharon and swayam started dating.
Swayam mouthed "thank you" to kriya to which she simply smiled.
Neha dragged kriya inside the house. Kriya became little emotional looking around the house. She should have been already staying here since past two years if she has not done that mistake of liking that monster..by the word "monster" she realized he is not present right now. Where is he? But she pushed the disappointed feeling as quickly as possible.
"god kriya your skin has tanned sexily. You know this kind of complexion is very hard to get and it completely blends with any type of dress and make up." Says rinni settling in a living room.
"Working near the beach gave me this gift. How much ever sunscreen lotions I used to apply but they never worked hundred percent. But I like it now" kriya says examining her hands.
"People try very hard to get that right amount of tan these days kriya which is very difficult" says Sharon.
"God girls give her a break. She has come just now let her freshen up at least" neha complaints irritatingly. Because it was always like this "Sharon rinni and simmi" group always talked about fashion tips, cosmetics, new trends etc which "neha vishaka and kriya" group hated the most. Because kriya and group always believed in carrying themselves in whichever dresses they feel comfortable. Never tried to dress up going out of their comfort zone so they shouldn't feel conscious all the time. But Sharon and group, it's totally opposite. They always dress up according to new fashion trends, doesn't matter whether they are comfortable in those dresses or not.
"Right I will just be back in few minutes." Saying this she went to drag her suitcase. "I will keep them in your room let's go" saying this swayam took 2 suitcases to the 1st floor to kriya's room.
When swayam comes down leaving kriya to freshen up and change her dress, Sharon was trying to call someone seriously.
" what happened? " asks swayam sitting next to sharon.
"Don't know. Rey is not picking up the phone. I don't know why but I am just worried about him today. Want to see him" says Sharon little disturbed.
"Relax he said he will bring the food for everyone when I called him couple hours back so he will come at any time now since it's a lunch time. And we all know how rey is particular about having meals on right time." Says swayam rubbing Sharon's arm gently.
"Exactly" says Rey himself giving his entry with lots of bags full of take away packages.
"Dude you must be kidding. So much of food" looking at all the bags Neil says.
"Huh. Don't want any complaints from our drama queen on her first day itself so bought all her favourite foods" says Rey sitting on couch exhausted throwing his head back on couch.
Swayam goes and stands in front of rey folding his hands. Rey after a minute sits straight and says "what is it swayam?"
"How come you don't want to meet your drama queen?"
Rey's eyes becomes wide due to shock when he heard swayam addressing kriya as " your drama queen" means rey's drama queen. Rey doubts whether swayam knows what happened between him and kriya two years back. It's not possible because if that was the case then swayam would have killed Rey by now.
"What? Don't tell me you don't want to meet her. Gosh Rey I really don't know what happened between you and kriya but I want you to solve it today itself and both of you come on talking terms. She will stay with us all the time now on Rey and I don't want you both avoid each other like last two years. It will be very awkward man" says frustrated swayam.
"Why me? Tell your sister. Why should I have to mend things always" Rey reply nervously knowing very well it was because of his fault kriya and him are not talking now.
"She is a kid Rey"
"Wow kid?(laughs sarcastically) she is just 2 minutes younger than you swayam"
"Whatever dude. Go and meet her. She is up stairs in her room. I want you both to behave normally when you guys come down. Now go" swayam commands seriously this time.
"Fine. Now I have to tolerate her attitude for you. Gosh why I am a friend of you. This is so humiliating" complaints Rey going upstairs to kriya's room.
Kriya comes out from bathroom in cute black and blue short dress, wiping her face with towel.
Then she took make up kit from her luggage bag and starts with applying basic moisturizer
"Wow.. kriya and make up?"
Kriya froze for a moment before quickly recovering turned towards the door where Rey was leaning on the door frame.
"Hello to you too Reyansh" says kriya before quickly resuming her make up.
Rey chuckles and pushes himself lazily from the door frame and goes and sits on kriya's bed looking at her in the mirror where he can see kriya doing her make up.
"So how was Goa?"
"Ahh better than Mumbai" looking at rey's image in mirror.
Rey nodes smiling. "Well.. Welcome back"
"Thanks. And since when did you start being so formal?" Kriya asks and starts applying slight blush on her cheeks in circular motion. One thing kriya so badly wanted in current situation is being in any awkward situation with Rey because she knows how much it will affect to her all friends.. Specially to swayam and Sharon.
"Right. by the way you have become so dark. eww." Rey makes face at her..
"Ahh back to 'jerk mode'. Thank God. And it's called tanning Rey." Kriya says keeping her lip gloss back.
"Tanning my foot. How did swayam approve you to work on beach to burn your skin to this extent?" Rey argues back with concern.
In any other situations this conversation of rey and kriya would have sounded like couple's possessive argument but here the situation is totally different. Rey and kriya, both are trying to fall into their old friendship, before that kiss.
"I am not a kid anymore Rey. I can take care of myself and swayam gave me his support as always so don't create a scene now" kriya says sitting next to Rey.
This is one thing the whole gang adored about Rey and kriya's friendship, that is there protectiveness and pure concern for each other. When swayam joined the boarding school in Mumbai, he became best friend of rey and his group on the day one itself. And during one long holidays when all went to rey's house, Rey told swayam that if he wants he can invite his twin sister for holidays. Which swayam happily did and kriya arrived on that day evening to rey's house. Instantly Rey and kriya became best of best friends who fought all the time but cared for each other at the same time. Possessive type of bonding formed between them within no time. Since then it became habit that on every long holidays, all used to stay at rey's house and kriya joined them every time without fail.
"Right. As if you listen to anyone. Gosh kriya look at your skin ( turning her hands to check) you have literally burnt a layer of your skin you fool. What were you thinking while exposing your skin for this kind of skin burn?" Rey went on like a possessive friend.
" chill Rey. It's nothing. Besides I like this complexion. And don't argue as if I was Fair before"
"So depressing. You can't even take the genuine concern properly." Rey looks away from her disappointed.
"Awww felt bad? Anyway you know what I enjoyed my life to the fullest in Goa last two years. My school and work. Enjoyed every bit of it. Doesn't matter in return I get little tanned skin in return" kriya says happily.
To which Rey looks at her for few moments and says "I am glad you did enjoy there. And you were happy. Huh. I was worried"
Kriya understood what he meant and thought 'oh how she so wanted to kill him all these days after witnessing him to kiss someone in front of her but his sentences made the intensity of 'killing Rey' idea lessen'
"So how are your girlfriends?" Kriya asks changing the topic.
Rey smiles looking at his interlocked hands."girlfriends? " mutters to himself not answering kriya's question.
"Don't tell me everyone dumped you"
"Kind of. But I still have my options. Don't worry" says Rey winking at kriya and standing up so that they can go down and join others.
Kriya to gets up and says sarcastically "oh yeah. You are THE Reyansh singhania how can I forget that."
"You don't believe me? Don't underestimate me kriya. I still have very sexy options. It is just that I am in no mood right now".
"Yeah yeah whatever makes you sleep at night" stepping out of the room with Rey.
Stopping at first step and facing kriya rey says "Really now?. You don't believe me?. Okay how about if I say I have one sexy option right in front of me" wiggling his brows with grin.
"Ewww. Two years I was on Goa beach everyday Rey. Have seen hot, hotter, hottest creations of God. Not only desi but foreigners too. So sorry boss you are rejected from my side" saying this she winks at him and starts climbing down the stairs with extra energy at her victory. She was sure she had hit Rey where it hurts. His ego.
Kriya was two steps to reach the down floor, Rey comes besides her and whispers in kriya's ear to make her stop "by the way(he pause for a moment and breath into her ears and says) sexy black lacy piece" and runs down without looking at kriya, Who took few moments to register that Rey has actually commented on her panty. Kriya realizes then that she is wearing short dress and when she bent to take her make up kit from her luggage bag Rey have seen her...
Okay done for now. Please do tell me how is the update. And coming to the season II of Mpk, guys I am not stopping the mpk, original one. In fact within couple of days you get the next update of that story. It's just that for this story line I couldn't come up with any other title which suits like title mpk. You can say it's a different version of my story mpk. I don't know whether I am marking any sense because I am unable to explain why mpk season II. But you guys will understand as the story proceeds.. I hope I will do the justice to the title *fingers crossed*.
