Ocean - A vast water body. It has unfound treasures buried inside it , it is a witness of great voyages and miserable ship wrecks , it has witnessed innumerable told and untold stories.
Being in the middle of an ocean , with water surrounding you for miles and miles , gave Rey a sense of peace.
He stood on his ship's deck looking ahead towards the water. It was his 4th trip to the ocean as a captain of a ship.
He loved these trips , it was always his dream to be the captain of a ship. Even though he enjoyed these days , but staying away from his family , was a bit disheartening at times. He didn't have to be sad though , because in a matter of few days he was going to reach his destination.
He smiled to himself and walked inside.

The huge waves , crashed onto the deck as Rey tried his level best to control the ship. But it was like trying to bring a dead person back to life.
The storm was eating up his ship and he knew he was going to fight this war , even though it was a lost one.
But soon he found himself drowning in the depths of the ocean. The storm had engulfed him and he was now left to the mercy of the furious ocean.

Sun rays fell on his face , as he opened his eyes spilling some water from his mouth. He looked at his clothes and saw that they were a bit tattered. He saw his pocket knife and rifle still there and sighed in relief.
He looked around the unfamiliar surrounding and found himself in the middle of nowhere.
He got up to look for any sign of any human being.
He was walking , looking around the place when his eyes fell on a group of people not far from him.
He hid behind a tree holding his rifle. He looked at them closely and noticed how filthy they looked.
They had really long and tangled hair , their clothes (if that's what they called them) was nothing but some weirdly stitched (with sticks) animal skin.
There faces were black with dirt and were never shaved.
There were four of them there and in the middle was a person who looked a bit feminine , he could differentiate it because of her curves and body shape.
Her clothes kind of thing did not cover her arm revealing the dirt filled arms and legs. Her face was a bit cleaner compared to the other four and hair just as long as them , actually even longer.
He saw one of his crew wandering aimlessly , the group noticed him and saw one of them took a huge stone and knocked him out with it.
The female took a weapon that looked more like a really sharp arrow or maybe saw? He was confused.
She then cut his leg with two-three shots.
Rey held his mouth wanting to puke. He ran before they saw him , and encountered another group , who were talking in some language that sounded a bit like English but wasn't.
"Taem dnuora eht dnalsi!"
"Tsaef!"
The others yell in joy , he shudders hearing their monstrous voice. He saw the first group coming , one holding the leg of the guy and the other his body.
He realized one thing. He was stuck in a place filled with Cannibals!
Being a sailor , he knew he had chances of dying without meeting his family. But for him the chances was dying from drowning or from being murdered by pirates!
Never in his wildest dreams , he thought he would die by being eaten up by some creatures who looked a bit like humans and were cannibals!
Fear ran down his spine as he thought about how they would cut his body parts. He held back the urge to vomit and walked without making noise.
He wandered aimlessly , trying to find some way of saving his life even though he knew his chances of survival was in negative.

After walking for nearly 3 hours and hiding from those monsters , even though he saw many of them , he saw few fighting and then one even killed his supposed partner and ate him.
He tried to shut his mind from those horrifying images and walked.

Rey couldn't thank god enough when he first saw the broken boat that needed a bit of repairing.
At least it was better than nothing. He knew what he had to do. He had to hide from these monsters till he repairs the boat and then get away from this island!
Easier said than done though.

He had successfully survived a day without being noticed by those human eating monsters.
Seeing the coast clear , he walked to the boat with the wood he had collected.
He was working as quietly as possible and even looking around in case one of them suddenly pounces at him from no where.
Suddenly...
"Kcatta!"
Rey's eyes went wide , he felt two people hold his arm. He tried to stop his breath so that he does not have to take in the disgusting smell coming out of their bodies. He pushed them with force and took out his small pocket knife.
They look at the piece of metal. Rey could now see them more closely. They looked more horrifying when you have a closer look at them. Rey saw few blood stains on their face.
He looked at them.
"Ohw si eh?"
"Eht gnik!"
They smile. Seeing that smile Rey gulped the huge lump that formed in his throat. His heart was beating faster than anything.
"Uoy era ruo gnik?"
Rey didn't understand what they were saying , but from the tone he understood it was a question and nods.
The two pick him up. Rey wanted to yell , but his voice box had already betrayed him.
Was he their feast for some grand celebration?
They took him inside the forest area , and finally reached a spot where there were some hut kind of houses.
He saw more of them. There were few kids as well , and well , even they were scary.
"Ruo gnik!"
Every creature stopped working and looked at them. They cleared the way.
He could see their eyes shining with excitement. He knew , he was a part of some big feast.
Everybody moved away as the two took Rey. They finally placed him down , right before a Canopy started.
In the centre was a roughly made chair. He was made to sit there.
All of them came in front of him and kneeled down.
His eyes were wide.
"Gnik?"
He looked around trying to understand what they meant. One of them bought crown looking thing made of bones? He shuddered in fear.
One of them placed it on his head and everyone cheered. Okay! Now he gets it.
They think that he is there King. He would love to be a King , but not a King whose crown is made up of probably human bones? And certainly not a King to cannibals!
One of them , who looked the oldest was addressing something to the crowd.
He looked around and then his eyes fell on one particular person.
Her hair was braided to one side. Her face much cleaner than the others. She was also wearing the same clothes like any other , but it covered her properly. Her arms were not filled with dirt and he could see a tinge of amusement in her eyes as the person addresses.
As if sensing his gaze , she looks up to him. Their eyes lock for a second before she looks away.
But Rey's eyes were stuck to her. He could clearly see that she was different from others.
The addresser finally stopped speaking and everybody hooted in the most disturbing manner ever.
He faked a smile.
He saw a piece of what looked like his crew member's fried hand was served to him.
It took him all his willpower to not puke. Was he supposed to eat that? No , he couldn't!
"Eh , tnac tae tad." , he heard that girl speak.
"Yhw?"
"Ti si a ecargsid ot deef gnik nettor taem!"
All were silent and then nod. The plate was removed. The girl took some fruits and gave it to him.
"Name?"
The girl looked at him , she gave him a confused look. He felt his hopes die as he realized she was not really a normal human being after all.

Ignoring the disappointment seeping in , he looked at her again. She was thinner than anyone present here , her eyes were hazel , unlike the others her body did not emit a choking smell.
She stared at him her face still had the amused look. Before he could speak again , a female creature pulled her away rather harshly.
Rey still had the hope that she could understand him and spoke , rather yelled.
"Thanks!"
The crowd there hooted. Wait..Did they think he was calling for a celebration? Or were they just amused to listen to a foreign language?
The latter sounded much more convincing.

It was almost night when the whole smelling crowd had gone away and Rey could finally get up from the seat and remove the crown.
He walked out trying to go far away from the choking smell. Gosh! Had they ever had a bath?
He didn't want to know the answer though.
He walked and finally reached the sea shore. He sat down.
"Now that they think I am their King , I have enough time to repair the boat without having the fear of being killed." , He spoke to nobody in specific.
He heard the rustling of leaves and turned to find the same girl coming out of the forest , she was limping. Her eyes fell on him and she was about to go , when..
"Stop!" , he commanded. Even if she couldn't understand the meaning , she could understand his tone.
The girl stopped on her tracks and turned. He beckoned her to come to him.
She looked at him , unsure about what to do.
"Come!" , he spoke again.
Hesitatingly , she came there. She sat down. Rey just looked at her leg that had a deep wound on it. He tore his sleeve and tied it around her injury.
She stared at him silently. Gathering courage she spoke.
"Kria.."
He stopped tying the cloth and looked at her amazed.
"My name."
"You speak english?" , he asked shocked. He wanted to dance in joy knowing at least someone was here who could understand his language.
She nods.
"Who are you?" , she asked.
"Rey."
"I mean , you are surely not their king then who are you?"
"A normal human being who thinks that animal meat is much better than human's!"
She looked at him and chuckled.
"I am a captain of a ship that met it's fate in a storm."
She sighed and looked ahead not bothering to reply.
"Who are you Kria?"
"A normal human being who thinks vegetables are better than any meat."
"And why are you here?"
"The ship that was taking me to boarding , I guess an year back , met the same fate as your ship."
"Oh.."
He looked at her injury.
"How did that.."
"They thought I was trying to woo you. So they thought making me limp would make you think that I am weak and who would want a weak queen?"
Rey stared at her for a while and then sighed. He looked ahead , watching the waves clash with the rocks.
He was lost in his thoughts. So lost , that he did not notice when Kria got up and walked away.

A new day dawned , Rey decided to start working on his boat. He collected the necessary things and walked ahead to find his way to the boat.
Apparently , there was not just 1 person in the crew , there were around 4 , and the disgusting creatures were having a feast.
He had excused himself and walked away.
He was passing a place when his eyes landed on Kria. Her hair was open and she was searching for something from a worn out bag.
She finally found what looked like a dress that had been torn from parts. She tore another piece and tied it around her injury.
She felt his gaze on her and looked up hiding the bag behind her back. She sighed in relief when she saw it was Rey.
He walked to her slowly and kneeled in front of her.
"How did you survive?"
"I pretended to be one of them. I had seen them kill someone , and I filled my arms with mud and some blood that I saw , pretending to join them. They are too dumb to realize the truth. Sure they do notice that I am much more cleaner than them and can make clothes that actually cover me. For that I do receive bad blows from them , but it's better than dying right?"
"Why don't you run away? There is a boat.."
"I didn't know how to repair it."
"I'll take you back..." , he spoke.
"They follow me everywhere I go. As soon as I step out of the forest they are behind me. I can't escape with you , they'll catch you."
"They won't. But I want something..."
Kria raised an eye. He smiled at her confused look.
"Please teach me their language!"
Kria laughed.
"It's quiet easy."
"How? I don't understand anything. How did you decode it?"
"Well , I guess I am smarter than you."
"It's not even a day since I met you and you are insulting me."
"I am stating my opinion. Anyways see when they saw gnik they mean king. It's like K-I-N-G 's opposite G-N-I-K."
"Huh?"
"If you spell what they speak you will notice that when you spell the same word from the end it will form an English word and that's it's meaning. For them T-H-A-T that would be T-A-H-T taht!"
Rey realized.
"To make them speak slower than their normal speed of speaking you'll have to say rewols , that way you can understand what they mean. It took me a while , but I eventually understood."
"Okay...by the way do you want to help me with the boat?"
"I don't think anybody would like.."
"Oh come on!"
He dragged her by her arm. She was the only sane and relatable person in this whole island and Rey definitely needed her company!

Kria sat on one of the rocks , looking at Rey who was working.
She knew , they were watching her , ready to hit her as soon as she went.

Kria was 18 when she had boarded the ship that was going to completely change her life.
She was going to start a new life in a new city. Her college life! And well she was extremely excited about it.
Only if she knew , her life was going to take a turn for the worse.

She woke up hearing screams.
"The ship is sinking!" , somebody yelled.
Kria's heartbeats rose. It seemed as if the blood from her face had drained out , and her body was paralyzed. She just couldn't move.
She heard another scream and knew she had to rush. She took hold of her bag , that had two of her dresses and some necessary things. She ran out hoping that the life boats were still there.
Unfortunately , the life boats were just not enough.

Spilling water from her mouth , Kria woke up. Her body was numb , and it pained to even get up.
The sun rays fell directly on her face. She slowly opened her eyes groaning in pain. Sitting up , she looked at her surroundings.
She saw two more people lying there and painfully crawled to them. She let out a sad sigh when she checked that they weren't breathing.
She looked around and saw their bags and her bag near the water. She had to get them!
With all her willpower she stood up and took the three bags. She emptied the other two bags and took the things that were necessary , while kept the others away.
She was behind a huge rock , tying a cloth around one of the scratches she had received , when she heard few voices.
She hid behind the rock and looked there to see few monstrous looking humans.
'Ew! They look so dirty.' , Kria spoke to herself. 'And so not humans.'
She then focused on them again and what she saw , made her puke. They cut the dead guy's arm and one of them just spilled some water on it , in an attempt to 'clean' it and ate it.

'How am I going to survive?' , Kria asked herself.
She being scared would be an understatement. She was hiding behind the rocks , shivering with fear as she remembered how disgustingly they ate that arm.
Tears were falling from her eyes. Dying by drowning was better than getting eaten up by cannibals! She had to survive , somehow.
She closed her eyes and remembered how they looked. Praying to god she walked to the forest and well to her luck saw the kind of clothes that the monsters wore lying there. She immediately took it and washed it with the water , than stitching it properly with whatever she had , she wore it on top of her clothes.
She opened her wet hair and ruffled it to make it look a bit untangled , then took some wet sand and applied it on her skin.
She then slowly walked into the forest. She was walking , looking around when.
"Ohw era uoy!" , she heard a rough voice.
She made a face , when a disgusting smell surrounded her. She turned and saw one of them looking at her.
She looked back at that one creature.
She pointed at him , then at herself and spoke
"Same!"
She was being dumb , but come on. She had to take a chance. Unfortunately , the creature took it in the wrong sense and the next thing she knew , she was being picked up and being taken by that creature inside the forest , the others running behind him.
He placed her down and she pushed him away before puking. The smell was intolerable.
She then looked around finding herself among many others of the same kind.
"Ym retsis!"
She looked at him confused. He looked back at her.
"Ym retsis." , he spoke slowly.
Kria looked intently at him and then in her mind placed the words and then spelt them correctly. Oh!

Well , eventually she ran away from her so called monstrous brother. But the creatures didn't leave her alone. Most of the ladies loved 'bullying her' because she was weaker and well much more 'attractive' looking an 'smelling'!
Nobody found her different behavior weird , because she convinced those brainless creatures , that the place where she had lived was a bit different.

"Kria!"
Kria's thoughts were broken by Rey who called out her name for the 5th time.
"Yeah?"
"What are you thinking?"
"Nothing!"
"Say."
"How I survived in a land full of monsters."
"Oh. How did you survive anyways?"
"One of them thought I was his long lost sister. I am surprised , they have relations."
Rey burst out laughing.
"Wa-wait , ho-how co-could you convince him that you are his sister! You aren't so ugly."
Kria rolled her eyes and shot back.
"Well , this means that your more uglier than them , cause your the king."
Rey stopped laughing and then looked at Kria , both stared at each other and laughed.
"They are idiots!" , they spoke in unison.
After the laughter died. They spoke to each other. Kria got to know that it had been a year and a half since she was stuck in this island. Rey was totally amused when he heard the whole story.

"You can finish it tomorrow Rey." , Kria spoke , noticing his tiredness.
"I want to get out of this hell hole soon. I need to leave from here!"
Kria didn't reply. Rey looked up to see what made her so silent.
He saw Kria now staring at the boat , her eyes were filled with unshed tears.
"Kria..you do know your coming with me right?"
Kria looked at him.
"I am serious Rey , they won't let me. If I join you , you won't be able to leave."
"Kria , nothing would happen really."
"You don't understand Rey. The female population of this place loathes me , okay? They hit me every single day , and yeah keep an eye on each and every movement of mine. I am sure they are right behind some bushes , looking at us. They just won't come in front of their 'king'. As soon as I go in , they'd never let me go back. Maybe they would kill me. Cause these people don't really care , whom they kill. I was surviving because I apparently have a brother. If I try to run away , they would take you and me and kill both of us , because they would think you are a traitor. From the time I stepped into this world , I knew I would die one day. If you can survive Rey , you should , don't risk yourself for me."
Rey got up and came to her holding her shoulders.
"Kria , I won't leave without you. Get that? And I promise you that they won't be able to stop us. I know you have known me since just a day , but please trust me on this."
"Even if I leave. Where am I to go Rey? My parents probably think I am dead. And the nightmare I lived for the past one and a half years , I don't know whether it will leave me or not."
Kria was now sobbing. He pulled her into his hugs and stroked her hair.
"Your stronger than this Kria. If you can survive this long with them , I am sure you'll be able to come out of the memories. And your not alone , kay? We'll find your parents , and if we can't , I am there for you."
"You don't even know me Rey!"
"Kria , it doesn't matter. We will have a long time to get to know each other."
"Only if we survive Rey , actually only if I survive."
Rey pulled back and wiped her tears , cupping her face.
"You will Kria. We will!"

Living with a bunch of heartless monsters had made it difficult for Kria to trust someone , to feel safe in somebody's presence. The worst was that , she had lost her hopes of living a normal life again.
She now had a mindset , that her whole life she would be wandering aimlessly around this forest ,trying to hide herself from being their next victim , and on her last day she would either die brutally or have a natural death , the former having more chances.
Now , she wanted to trust Rey and she did. For the first time in years she felt safe being with him , she had a hope to survive.
But being with these creatures , the hope was just like the small ray that peeps through the key hole of a closed room.

They walked inside the forest together. Kria could feel the murderous eyes following them.
"Kria.." , Rey spoke sheepishly.
"What?"
"Show me the way to the main area please?"
Kria chuckled and nods. Suddenly somebody slapped her head from behind.
"Uoy tnod kaeps ekil taht ni ynorf fo eht gnik!"
Kria closed her eyes in pain. Rey looked at the female.
"Wols!" , Rey ordered remembering what Kria had told him. She said it again and Rey understood taking a while.
He forwards his hand to Kria , who had her eyes wide now.
"Take it!" , he mouths.
She nods and placed her hand in his. Rey pulled her up close to him.
"How do I say that your my queen?"
"Rey! Please don't."
"Just tell me Kria."
"Ehs si ym neeuq."
Rey turned towards the creature , and repeated what Kria had said , whose eyes went wide hearing that. Her mouth was open and Rey tried his level best not to look away and choke.
"Ehs tnac eb eht neeuq!"
Kria translated it slowly.
"Yhw ton!"
He replied.
"Dna I tnod tnaw uoy gnittih reh niaga!"
She nods and went cursing out loud. Kria looked at Rey.
"She'll kill me!"
"I am there."
Rey assured her holding her hand. Kria sighed and smiled.
"Now show me the way!"

2 days later.
Rey was sitting on the throne seeing some fight. Kria had explained that after every two weeks (she counted) the male crowd hold a fight between two random creatures.
Whoever gets killed looses and well the 'survivor' or 'rovivurs' hosts a feast of the dead one.
Rey looked at the two , with disgust written all over his face. He saw the female crowd sitting on the other side , he searched for Kria and couldn't find her anywhere.
He got up , and everybody stopped cheering. Rey looked at them and spoke.
"Eunitnoc!" , he ordered and walked inside the forest.
He wandered trying to remember the way and finally found Kria's bag.
The torn dress was at one side and all the other things fallen scattered. He collected them and kept them back , walking ahead , he found her lying down.
"Kria?" , he whispered slowly. He kneeled in front of her. Her head was bruised and her so called clothes almost torn.
She opened her eyes and looked at Rey. He helped her sit.
"She hit you?"
Kria nods. Rey groaned in anger. He wanted to fight back but couldn't because he knew that they were stronger than him.
"I am fine Rey. I just want to sleep please."
"I am not leaving you alone then."
Kria didn't reply , she just rested her head on his shoulder and closed her eyes , falling into a deep slumber.
Rey stared at Kria , in only a matter of 3-4 days Rey had started feeling an unknown connection to Kria. He felt the need to protect her from them even though he couldn't really fight them.
He wasn't dense to understand that he kind of liked the girl that was currently sleeping beside him.
But he was confused whether the feelings were genuine or the feelings were there because she was the only human beside him on this island and that too the opposite gender!
He groaned in confusion and looked at Kria. He picked her up and took her to where the boat was and placed her down.
It just needed a little bit of repairing and then they would be able to use it. He started working , looking at Kria in between.

Kria opened her eyes slowly , when she felt something being put around her. She saw Rey in front of her , wrapping the other dress around her as a cover.
She smiled weakly. Her body ached with pain , which she was used to.
She then looked around and found herself in the boat.
"We are leaving?" , she asked shocked.
"No not now , but in a while. I'll just be back okay? Stay here."
"Rey...they'll find me."
"I am going to handle them. Trust me Kria?"
"I trust you.." , she replied with difficulty and honesty.
Rey grinned and took her hand.
"Then don't be afraid."
Kria smiled.
In the past year , Kria had forgotten how to smile but in these 4 days she had started smiling again , started hoping again and the thought that Rey was behind all this bought some unknown feelings inside her.
She looked at Rey and then softly kissed his cheek.
"I'll be waiting."
Rey stared at her for a second and then kissed her forehead.
"I'll be back.."
He placed her down a bit comfortably and went.

Rey walked into the area where the fight was being held and saw that one of them was almost dying with blood covering his body.
The other was also covered with blood , but most wasn't his.
Rey rolled his eyes and looked at the one who had given the long speech when he was made the king.
He walked to him. He looks up to Rey.
"I ma gnignirb taem morf rehtona ecalp! Kria si htiw em."
He nods and announced it to others , all cheered at the thought of getting another kind of meat.
Rey sighed to himself and then slowly walked back to the shore. He saw that female who had hit Kria moving around the boat.
She took hold of the rope and broke it , throwing it away so the boat could move ahead.
"Kria!" , Rey thought to himself and ran there.
The boat hadn't gone much ahead so he walked there and stopped it with his hand.
He mentally cursed her and looked at Kria who had fallen asleep again. He dragged the boat back to the land and glared at the monster.
He tied the rope again.
He took hold of her hand and dragged her in , his face having a disgusted expression at the thought of holding the filthy creature.
He stopped at a tree from where Kria had once given him fruits and took them in Kria's bag.
He then left the creature and walked back. Finally! They were leaving.
Walking back to the place where the boat was he kept the bag inside and made Kria sit up. Removing the rope he pushed the boat ahead and climbed it.
"Pots!"
He heard a yell and looked behind to see the whole group coming there. He went numb.
Kria opened her eyes hearing the noise and saw them.
"Yeht era gninnur!"
The female yelled , making the male crowd come into the water. Kria went numb.
They are coming to take her. She held Rey's arm in fright.
Thankfully the luck was on their side and the wind blew a bit faster , resulting in their boat to go a bit far away.
They were at a safe distance from the island now.
Kria finally let out the breath she had stopped herself from taking and hugged Rey in joy.
"Finally! Thanks Rey , thank you so much."
Rey puts his hand around her pulling her close and grinning.
"Thanks Kria , if you weren't there , I am dead sure , I would become insane."
They just stayed there silently in each other's arms. Their joy knew no bounds because they were now no where near that monstrous island , anymore.

2 days later they sat on the deck of a ship as the crew members bought water and food for them.
They had been found by a ship who was sailing to Rey's home town. Much to their luck , the captain knew Rey well.
"You need clothes?" , one of the crew members asked Kria.
She nods. They gave her an over sized shirt that would probably Reach her knees.
When the guy was handing her the shirt , he touched her hand by mistake and she flinched in fright.
Living with those monsters made her afraid of being touched , she just trusted Rey.
Rey held her arm rubbing it , as well as assuring her that it was okay , they won't harm her.
Rey took her to the washroom and waited outside. The captain had given him a change of clothes and he had changed quickly.
Kria came out.
"It feels so good to wear something else rather than that animal skin.." , Kria spoke.
Rey chuckled and pinned her hair back kissing her forehead.
"They mean no harm to you sweetie. So don't worry."
Kria nods.
"I'll try."
Rey grinned and took her to one of the cabins. Tucking her in the bed , he sat beside her.
Kria feeling the comfort of a bed after so long fell into a deep slumber holding Rey's hand.
He heard a knock on the door.
"Come in." , Rey said.
The captain came inside smiling at Rey. Rey folded his legs , giving the captain space to sit.
"Nobody survived?" , the captain asked.
He nods in a no.
"I am shocked you know. When we all heard that your ship had sunk near that island , we knew there was no way possible that you'll be back."
"Yo-you know about the island?"
"Rey , you should listen to others when they speak about their trips. Everybody knows that whichever ship ends near the island , no crew member survives. You reached the island?"
"Stayed there for almost a week. Kria survived an year and a half."
The captain's eyes went wide.
"How? And what is in there?"
"Ca-cannibals! Disgusting , dirty smelling cannibals." , Rey spoke shuddering.
"How did you two survive? Especially her!"
"She pretended to be a part of them and well because I had a pocket knife , they thought I was their king."
He laughed.
"If I wasn't a believer of unusual creatures I would never believe you Rey."
"Neither would I believe this , if anyone told me."
Kria moved in her sleep , in fright. Rey rubbed her hand.
"She is still afraid."
"Understandable."
The captain looked more closely at Kria and his eyes went wide.
"She is Kria Ghai?"
"I don't really know her sir name."
"She is. She was my neighbor."
"So you know her home?"
"Yup. She stays in your town! I'll give you the address when we reach."
"Thanks."
The captain smiled and went out.
Rey turned to kria.
"Your going home sweetie."
He said smiling and kissed her cheek.

Rey was standing on the deck remembering the last time he had stood here.
Well there was now another story that had been added to the list of stories related to voyages. The story of his and Kria's escape.
He was now really sure of his feelings towards Kria , and he knew it was more than just like. He loved Kria , he loved everything about her. He wanted to protect her forever , stay beside her throughout.
He smiled to himself and went to check on Kria.

Kria woke up , after a comfortable sleep , something that she had been deprived off from past one and a half years.
She looked around and did not find Rey. She was scared for a minute , but then calmed when his assuring face came in her mind.
She smiled remembering the week she had spent with Rey , with him protecting her in a way.
She remembered his hugs and his kiss on her forehead and blushed. She was no idiot to not understand what she felt about him and she knew that her feelings were extremely strong.
She was lost in her thoughts and did not realize when Rey came inside.
"Hey!"
Kria looked up and smiled. He came to her.
"Slept well?"
"Yeah! You didn't sleep?"
"No. I wasn't feeling sleepy."
Kria nods. They both look at each other and Kria finally spoke.
"Re-Rey.."
"Yes?"
"I want to say something to you."
Rey nods , indicating her to go forward.
"Rey, I really..."
She stopped not having the courage. She took a deep breath and then spoke.
"I like you Rey. Actually I am on the lines of loving you."
Rey looked at her , not knowing how to react. Kria gulped and then spoke.
"It's not necessary for you to like me back Rey. I don't mind you---"
Her words were left unspoken , when Rey pressed his lips on her lips.
Kria was shocked for a second but then replied back. They soon pull back.
"I don't like you Kria. I love you."
Kria grinned and hugged him real tight.

The Ocean , which was already a witness of many stories , was now a witness to a love story of two lost people who found their love in their escape.
