SwaRon OS ||Proposal||
"Are you sure the flowers would look fine there?" Swayam asked doubtfully
"Yes Swayam ... why are you doubting me? I'm telling you, whoever you're going to propose to, will absolutely love this!" I answered back. A girl would only understand what a girl likes right? So that's why, I'm helping him. But, it brings pang to my heart whenever I think of it. I have always liked Swayam more than a friend. I don't know whether it's love or not but Swayam's always been this companion who understands me, who shows me the difference between right and wrong, the guy whom I can spend hours with and not get bored. But that horrid day arrived when I asked him about any girl in his life he shyly answered me saying, "Well, there is this girl!" and there, my world crashed! And now, I'm stuck here helping him with decorations. But, I'm his best friend and I will always be supportive of whatever he does.
"Sharon? Get out of dreamland!" I heard him say and immediately realized what I was doing. I taped the balloons on the wall, got off the ladder and stood next to him, where I could view the whole decorations we did in his house. It was amazing! Just like how I would want it. "So, how did you like it?" I asked him in that happy-go-lucky attitude to make sure he doesn't see my sadness.
"It's perfect Sharon! Thank you soo much!" He replied and squeezed me into a bear hug. Gosh, the butterflies in my stomach ... I just believe there will be another girl in his life, a girl who he would hug romantically, who he will spend most of his time with and I'll be left all alone, with my broken heart.
I pulled away from the hug and said, "Okay Swayam, I'll see you tomorrow and hopefully your girlfriend too" Hopefully my foot! I made my way towards the door when I heard him call my name
"Sharon! Wait!" What could be now? Can't he just let me go home and cry in peace! "Umm, why don't you come over later and I'll make you meet her?" WHAT! Is he mad? Me, come and meet that bi*** who stole my Swayam from me? Actually, good idea ... Let me see what's so good about her that Swayam fell in love with her.
"Yeah sure! Why not? So what time should I come?"
"Umm ... Around 7ish?" Just 3 more hours to find out who took my best friend, my crush, my Swayam away from me.
"Okay then, see you at 7!" I left in anger, hurt and jealousy all at the same time.

It was 7:10p.m and I had been standing outside Swayam's house for the past 15 minutes. No, I haven't rang the doorbell yet. What was I supposed to do? I wanted to make a grand entry, he told me to come at 7 and by coming a bit late I know I will be given some attention. Finally, after gathering some courage and thinking it's time, I rang the doorbell. I waited, no one answered. I rang again, the same response. Again, and again and again but no answer. That is so unlike Swayam. That's when I realized, the door was slightly, yet unnoticeably, open. I pushed the door and entered to find the whole house in pitch darkness. Did Swayam forget that he invited me and went for a date with his girlfriend?! What the hell!
"Swayam?" I whispered, in a hope that he was here and didn't ditch me. And all of a sudden, the lights flash on. What is going on? This is creepy. "Swayam?" I shouted but softly. Fearing all the types of possibilities that scared me, I was about to leave when my eye caught something. Something, which wasn't there 3 hours ago. A mirror. I went closer to the mirror and saw a note. Look to your left was written. Following its order I turned and found Swayam. Not just that but Swayam on his knees. What was happening?
"Will you be my girlfriend?" Did he just? Me? Or does he think it's someone else?
"Swayam ... It's me, Sharon." I clarified.
"I know" he replied casually, on his knees. "So, will you be my girlfriend or not? My knees are hurting really bad Sharon ... Jaldi answer do!"
"Yes! I will be your girlfriend Mr. Swayam Shekhawat" I went on my knees, we were face to face. I cupped his face and said, "You know Swayam, before Will you be I girlfriend' people usually say I love you" I saw his face flush as soon as I finished my sentence. His expression was priceless.
"Yeah I was about to .."
"I love you" I cut off his sentence and said it. I love him, more than anything in this world. And today I know, he feels the same. He loves me too.
"I know" He said shyly. I know?
"That's it? I know? Swayam why are you behaving like a girl! I'm supposed to the shy blushy-blushy type and you're supposed to all naughty but that's not the case! Oh god why did you give me such a boyfriend who ..." before I rant on further, his finger sealed my lips making me stop.
"What do you want me to say?" he still didn't understand! Oh god, what type of boyfriend did I get?
"I love you! That's what I want to hear from you!" I stood up and faced turned away from him.

"Swayam, stop! Your singing sucks ... I love you but please don't sing!" I felt really bad saying that but what could I do, he sucks at singing though it was really sweet of him.
"I love you" Now THAT was music to my ears. I turned towards him to see him facing the ground. What's his problem? He just said I love you ... thodi koi gunah kiya hai.
"Swayam ... should bring some tissues for you?" his head shot up in confusion. "Soon enough you'll start crying like a typical girl." He looked at me irritated but I couldn't help it, he was behaving like such a girl. "But tumhare issi adda pe hum marte hai jaaneman" I ran towards him and hugged him as tightly as possible. If he behaves like a girl, even I do sometimes behave like a boy. Probably, that's what makes us perfect for each other.
