There are always rumours going around about Reyaansh, who is also known as Rey. Once again there is a rumour going around in the college about him and it's that he is in Love with the daughter of the principal of the college, Kriya Ghai. Rey confirmed that this time it's not a rumour, it's true. Yes he is actually in Love, True Love for the first time. Yeah, it's a scary thing to be in Love with the principal's daughter but he is Reyaansh Singhania. He is not scared from the principal but he is scared to express it in front of Kriya. All thanks to his friends who have already done his half work by singing love songs every day in the morning as Kriya enters the college with her friends. Today they again did that by singing.
He could see a blush on her face every day when she came in front of him. That was enough to drive him crazy. They would stare at each other until someone would make them realise that they will freeze if they stay like that for any longer. He could easily tell by her reactions that she also likes him but he was still scared as he heard that once a guy proposed Kriya and she slapped him so hard that he wasn't able to show his face in the college for two weeks.
Rey shivered on his thoughts but a smile crept on his face as he saw Cookie coming towards him. Cookie is a cute, bubbly girl who is everybody's favourite. Her jokes are famous in the college and she is also known as being a devil. Devil for those who misbehave with her friends. Moreover she is Kriya's best friend and she is helping Rey to get closer with Kriya as she wants Kriya to have a lovely guy like Rey in her life. Cookie gives all sorts of news about Kriya to Rey but Kriya is unaware of it.
Rey: Hi my Sweetie!
Cookie: Hi Handsome, what's up?
Rey: Kia bataoon, kuch samajh mai nahi aaraha.
Cookie: Oh Mr Confused! Agar tum aaise hee confused rahe tou gayi Kriya ki birthday.
Rey: What Kriya ki birthday, When?
Cookie: 2 days baad
Rey: What the Hell.. 2 Days aur tum mujhe ab bata rahi ho.
Rey: Oh sorry.. Chalo batao kia karna hai?
Cookie: Kia karna hai, Kriya ki birthday party per kardo use apne feelings kaa izhar (express).
Rey: Cookie itne saare logon k saamne??
Cookie: Haan naa it would be so fun.
Rey: Per agar usne reject kar diya tou main tou gaya naa..
Cookie: Arey believe in your self naa. I'm sure sub kuch theek hoga.
Rey: Awww tum naa hoti tou main kia karta.
Cookie: Issi liye tou main hoon..
Both of them laughed and hugged. Cookie assured him that everything will be alright and finally Rey developed some confidence.
Principal Sir planned a surprise birthday party for Kriya. Cookie took permission from him to do all the arrangements and he easily agreed. She asked Virat, Rey's friend to take Kriya somewhere by making any excuse so that she doesn't get to know about the party. Virat was good at these things so it didn't take him much effort to act in front of Kriya.
Rey, his other friends and all of Kriya's friends helped with the arrangements. The party was set on a pool side with pink and black colour arrangement as they were Kriya's favourite colours. Rey also wore black and he surely looked Hot.
On the other hand Virat took Kriya for shopping and he insisted her to get a new dress. Kriya, as usual, took a pink dress and also wore it on Virat's insistence.
When everything was organised, Cookie called Virat and asked him to drive her to the venue.
Kriya: Where are we going Virat? Kitni raat ho gayi hai, mujhe ghar jaana hai.
Virat: Chup chap bethi raho, tumhe kidnap kar k nahi le jaa raha.
Kriya: Huh, tum bilkul apne friend Reyaansh jese ho. Ziddi bilkul ussi ki tarha.
Virat: Oh tou tumhe aajkal har larke mai Rey nazar aata hai?
Kriya: Shut up, Okay!
Virat: Hmmm Bechara Rey. Kahan phasne jaa raha hai.
Kriya: What, kia bola tumne?
Virat: Oh kuch bhi nahi...
As soon as their car stopped in front of the venue Kriya jumped out of the car and stared at the place in shock. Virat pleaded her to go inside with him. It was all dark there, all that could be seen was the bluish shade of the water. She stood there in surprise, trying to figure out what's happening.
Suddenly, one by one, lot's of candles started lightning. Kriya was able to see clearly in the lights of those candles. She was mesmerized by the decorations. Simple, yet elegant.. Just the way she liked it.
Slowly a voice started coming from a hidden place.. "Happy Birthday to you, Happy Birthday to you, Happy Birthday dear Kriya, Happy Birthday to you!! Everyone came out singing the birthday song. Kriya stood there in shock but soon realised and started jumping like a kid. "OMG you guys did this all for me". Cookie came forward and hugged her tight. "Ab cake kato gi yaa phir woh bhi hum hee karain" Cookie said teasing her, and Kriya progressed towards the cake with a smile. She cut the cake and put the first piece it in Cookie's mouth. Then Cookie put it in her mouth and all the friends did the same. When all the friends had their turn, Rey came towards Kriya, got a piece of cake and held it near her mouth. Kriya took some steps backwards as she felt awkward due to their closeness. Rey got closer to her that Kriya closed her eyes as she thought, Rey is gonna kiss her. "Don't make such cute faces, just eat the cake or else I'll lose my senses". Kriya blushed on hearing this but tried her best to hide it. She opened her eyes and took the piece of cake in her mouth from Rey's hand. The party went on after that and everybody gave presents to Kriya.
As the party progressed, Cookie came at the centre of the floor and spoke in mike to get everybody's attention. "Hello everyone, can I please have your attention. As you all know that it's Kriya's birthday party so I thought we should play her favourite game. Ok so the game is Truth and Dare. Yes it's Kriya's favourite game and yeah don't forget that Kriya is a Dare Devil... So are you all in?" Everyone hooted and applauded and agreed to play the game.
The whole crowd gathered beside the pool and sat in a circle. The game started and the first spin stopped on Cookie. It was Selena, Kriya's and Cookie's friend who had to ask or dare in the game so she asked, "Truth or Dare"? "Of course Dare", Cookie replied with a confident smile. "Hmmm nice, so your dare is to dance with a guy in this group", Selena said. "Oh cool, that's an easy one", Cookie again said with confidence but as she got up to choose a guy, she got hell confused.
Cookie's self talk:
Rey... Nahi nahi woh tou Kriya kaa hai. Ummm Virat... Pata nahi... Swayam... Nahi Sharon maar dale gi... Rajat... Nahi, woh kuch ghalat samjhe gaa...

As she was talking to herself, she heard people saying.. Hey Dare Devil, ab kia hua?
She quickly composed herself again and slowly went towards Virat. Everyone stared in amazement as Cookie and Virat always used to fight. Cookie forwarded her hand towards Virat and he quickly accepted. They started swaying on the music and danced well. After their turn other people did their parts and this time the bottle stopped on Rey.
Selena smiled to Cookie and Cookie nodded. Selena asked Rey, "So Truth or Dare"? Rey replied tentatively "Dare". "Okay so your dare is to show us how will you confess you feelings to the girl you love. Choose a girl from this group and act it with her", Selena gave this dare on purpose to him. Rey smiled and got up. He looked at Kriya who was looking at him constantly, waiting for him to choose. He walked towards Kriya and whispered, "Kia tum mere liye khari (stand up) hogi?". Kriya hesitated but then stood up. Rey bent on his knees and started speaking "Kriya, look I don't know how to give long speeches and how to confess properly but all I can say is that, that my life has started revolving around you. It's like if I don't see your face every day, I feel like dying. When you are around me, my life is perfect. I, I Love you Kriya. Kia tum mera saath do gi? Can I be the lucky one to call myself your boyfriend? Will you be my life partner?
Kriya went numb seeing this as if she knew that Rey is not acting, he is actually confessing his love to her. She just stared at him with her eyes wide open. She had mixed feelings. Here the guy whom she liked from the start of the college was asking her to be his life partner and she didn't knew what to say in reply. She closed her eyes and all she felt was love and positivity and that's when she got her answer. "Rey, woh, Yes I'll be with you as your girlfriend, as your life partner".
He couldn't believe his ears. His happiness knew no bounds at that time. He got up and took her into an intense hug. She buried her face into his chest and they felt each other's warmth and love.
"Ahem Ahem, everyone please proceed towards the dance floor", Cookie spoke bringing back the "newly in love" couple to the world. Kriya and Rey broke the hug and Rey held her hand. Everyone went towards the dance floor and a soft music started playing. All the couples took their positions and got lost in the music. Kriya and Rey also started dancing. Firstly Kriya was a bit shy but then she also got lost in the moves. He handled her very gently throughout the dance and Kriya was so touched by his gestures. At the end of the dance, Rey held Kriya by her waist and got dangerously close to her. No one noticed as everyone was still dancing. He ran his finger on her face, making her blush hard. He kissed on her forehead and cheeks. They both felt a need to badly have each other just to themselves but maybe it wasn't the right time so they just ended up in each other's arms, making promises for a brighter and full of Love future.
