Swayams character is not that badly written these days but somewhere not fully correctly written either🤔
He is A well mannered person and so he agreeing to go with ruhi or comforting her whenever she cries not doubting/understanding that Ruhi might be playing games or might be having wrong intentions, and so he falling for her trap is justified, Swayam has not noticed anything wrongly done deed by her after all, for him to start doubting her. And neither is he a person who'll simply doubt a girl when he has justification to her behaviour that she is from a small town.
but then he not clearly telling Ruhi to maintain distance whenever she throws herself on him or Even making it clear to her, not to ever misunderstand his actions to be otherwise, needs to be detailed.
He is Swayam Shekhawat, who is the matured one amongst the gang and observant, and has always been softhearted but firm. So he taking everything for a ride is so not Swayam :/
Sharon has been his Priority and whatever may be their relationship status, he has always given importance to Sharon;
So he not even being worried for Sharon when she wasn't well, not showing his care towards her, ignoring her call while talking to Ruhi, is really leaving loophole in his character.
His side of the SwaRon story is really hanging in air I know he has stopped thinking about their Relationship status and just living in present taking life the way its coming but hell he is human being and everyone has that point in life where at the end of the day we do think about all the stacked emotions that we were avoiding in front of others. How we'll know about what he thinks and what he feels whenever he has to control himself from getting back the feel of the emotions he is trying to avoid?

Please detail his character? With proper dialogues and scenes. And mainly proper monologues clearing and justifying Swayam.

I agree completely. Swayam as a character is not being shown completely wrong.
But there have been gaping holes in his characterisation. First was the Alok fiasco which thankfully was corrected by the CVS. But even after that in the case of Ruhi, all can be accepted saying he is gentle and kind-hearted and all but why was he shown not calling Sharon when she was sick? Why listen to what Ruhi has to say?
Also Ruhi has been throwing herself at him and snatching his phone. Why did Swayam never react to that? Why didn't he ever tell her not to do that? And yesterday's not picking up Sharon's call was another mistake. Even if Ruhi did continue blabbering why did he not stop her excuse himself? More importantly that particular part of the story did not add anything to the story so why was it even shown? It could have been done without.

I also agree about the fact there should atleast be some monologues about what he is feeling about his and Sharon's equation at present. Even if he does want to avoid thinking about Sharon and their relationship but still there must have been something which he has been thinking. CVs could have shown that atleast. He is a human with thoughts not some robot.

Snatching his phone and he not saying much there can be given a benefit of doubt that he chucked it to be ruhis' care as a frnd but like u said why scenes like he not receiving Sharon's call, when such scenes have nothing much to contribute to the story?
And exactly he isn't a robot to have no feelings. come on Swayam is not a stonehearted person. He does hide his feelings from others but he surely will be getting some feelings that he thinks of while alone right?
He is shown thinking about ruhi when he is at home, damn it.
I have no clue what this ruhi track has to do with SwaRon story. ><

I completely agree. I don't see any objective of this Ruhi track if they are going to show him so robotic. The phone call part was particularly horrible specially when it was not required at all.
He was thinking about Ruhi only to make sure that there was no problem between her and Sharon. But yeah it was irking.
And there have been so many instances where Swayam's monlogue could have been given. For example the part where Sharon blasted at Swayam for trying to make her lieing front of Kriya and then changing back to her Diva self. Don't tell me these things never affected Swayam?

Sorry not updated with Interviews. But well if she has said that, I don't get how Swayams character loose handling should be seen with an open mind :/

My question is, if they can show Swayam thinking while at home, can't they show him think about Sharon and himself? Can't he be shown thinking about how difficult it is to stop himself from openly being Sharon's loverboy?
Why importance to Ruhi-Swayam scenes over Swayam-Sharon scenes?
Like the instance u have mentioned, and even sharon staying at his place to take care of him, does that all stand nothing to Swayam? Who are writers fooling. by giving lack of insight to Swayams character and full blown clarity and justification to Ruhi, they are making it Ruhi Story whereas it should Swayam-Sharon Story >.<

I agree. Even Sharon is being given clarity. Her thoughts and all are most of the time made clear. But I don't see what's wrong in giving that clarity to Swayam. I mean he is being given screenspace and all then why can't they give him a proper solo scene? >.<
Sometime or the other this whole matter of staying away and aloof from Shaorn must have crossed his mind. Even after the accident when he starts behaving well with Sharon and said sorry there must have been some thought process. Why the hell can't they show that?

Recently Sharon is being done exceptionally well. The one who will crack through anything in her style when it comes to people close to her. But then lack of insight to Swayam, is getting in the way. As you said his thought process somewhere will land up on sharon even if he's avoiding thinking about getting back in relationship with her, but hell writers don't even have time to write for Swayam >.<

No solo scenes have been ruining Swayam's character for many. Even if we can guess many a times what he is thinking why should we have to think and keep guessing about it? Shouldn't it be made clear? That is the job of the CVs.
And also it's not like Shantanu can't act well or something like that. He can carry off emotional solo scenes with panache specially sine Swayam's thought process is something that has always been admired by the viewers and made them connect to his character. Hell at the beginning we have literally lived SwaRon's love story thorugh Swayam's thoughts. Now the absolute absence of it is just irking.
