Heyy guys!! This is my first time writing an OS and I know that bakwaas hai...still would love to have your opinions about it.
In this story, Rey and Kriya are together and it's their 1st confession anniversary. But just a day before KriYaansh had a fight over a small issue.
MORNING IN COLLEGE-
Rey: O God! Ye Kriya kahan reh gayi. I hope kal ke jhagde ko lekar wo zyada upset na ho. Sab meri galti hai. Kal raat bbhi usne phone nhi uthaya.
Just then he saw Swayam and Sharon walking together.
Rey: Hey guys...!!
Swayam: Hi Rey. (They hi-fived)
Sharon: Hi Rey. Good Morning! (She hugged him)
Rey: Tumlogon ne Kriya ko dekha hai kya?
Sharon: Kya baat hai? Subah subah Kriya ka naam...hmmm.
(She winked in a teasing way. Rey smiled a little then repeated the question)
Sharon: Nahi yaar! We just entered college.Maybe she is already in class. Hum bhi chalte hain.
Swayam: Yaa...checkout in class.
(Rey knew that if Kriya was still angry she will never be in class)
Rey: Tumlog chalo main aata hun.
SwaRon: Okay! (They left)
(Rey kept searching for Kriya. Canteen, no. Rehearsal hall, no. Rey was getting tensed. What if she hadn't come? He wanted to make her feel special today.Them\n he decided to check the Fire-escape. Oh! Finally...there she was. She was sitting on the stairs with her back to Rey.
Rey: Hi Kriya! Yahan kya kar rahi ho?
(Kriya looked up at him startled. She didn't reply)
{Kriya's POV: Main aaj use bilkul maaf nahi karungi. Mujhe bahut gussa aa raha hai. Jitna manana hai use manane do}
Rey hesitated a little then came down the stairs and sat beside her.
Rey: Kal raat tumne phone kyun nahi uthaya? I was worried.
Kriya: Wo mera phone silent pet ha. Shayad maine nahi dekha.
Rey: Acha chodo. Tumhe pata hai aj subah se main tumhe dhoond raha tha. Tum mil hi nhi rahi thi.
Kriya: Haan ajkal aise hi dooriyan aa rhi hain humari relationship mein.
(Rey hadn't expected this reply. He felt hurt. He tried again)
Rey: Dekho, I am sorry for yesterday. Mujhe tumse jhagda nahi karna chahiye tha.
Kriya: It's ok Rey. Wo baat main bhul bhi chuki hun.
(Rey felt weird. Kriya wasn't a person to forget a fight so easily and that too with him.
Rey: Pakka? I mean you sure...matlab ab koi prob nhi hai.
Kriya: Haan pakka. (She said without any emotion) Acha ab main chalti hun. Getting late for class.
(She got up to leave)
Rey: Kriya suno. (she stopped) Aj kahin bahar chale.
Kriya: Kyun? Aj kuch special hai kya?
Rey: Wo aaj ...(He stopped a little surprised that she had forgotten)
Kriya: Kya?
Rey: Nhi, kuch nhi.
Kriya: Aj rehearsals hain and uske baad i get really tired. Phir annual day ki taiyari krni bhi karni hai. I don't wanna waste my time. (Kriya bit her lip. She hadn't meant to say that. Still she left)
{Kriya whole walking thought that maybe Rey really meant something and he was really sorry. She kept remembering the look on his face. But she was still angry and dismissed the tought.
Rey was really hurt. He couldn't believe that Kriya had forgotten this special day. A year before, just on this day her words had made him feel so elated and out of the world. He felt that things had slowly started to change between them. She had not forgiven him of course. He could tell it from her tone but he hadn't expected her to forget this day. He went to the rehearsal hall and started dancing, Kriya's words ringing in his ears. He decide to let Kriya be. He won't try and talk to her}
Everyone in canteen(Except Rey)
Suddenly, Swayam remembered something.
Swayam: Hey guys! Remember last year isi din humara dance fest tha. It was so much fun. And rey and Kriya ka performance was amazing.
{A bell rang in Kriya's mind. Dance fest. Rey and her performance. Her confession.
Kriya: Oh shit! (She ran from there and started looking everywhere for Rey. She coludn't find him. She got tensed. How colud she forget such an important day for them.Yes the day she and he had become them'. She felt teary.
Kriya: Rey ne mujhe kitni manane ki koshish ki. Main hi pagal hun. Gusse mein na jaane kya kya bol diya. Zara bhi sochti nahi hoon. (Rey was nowhere to be seen. Then she remembered about rehearsal and went there as it was also important. After it got over it was already dark. She tried calling Rey but he didn't pick)
Kriya: Universe ji! Ab main kya karun. Rey aap kahan ho? I am really sorry. Kal ke jhagde ko lekar mujhe itna upset nahi hona chahiye tha, kitni chhoti baat thi (Tears started falling from her eyes)
(When Kriya came out of the college she heard some voice from the basketball court. She went there and heaved a sigh of relief. Rey was there playing so vigorously, as if he was taking out someone's anger on the ball. Kriya got scared. Then she ran outside the campus to a florist shop and brought a white rose. She ran back to the court and approached Rey. He swa her.)
Rey: Tum yahan kya kar rhi ho? Tumhe ghar jana chahiye. Tumhara time waste ho raha hoga.
Kriya: Wo Rey, actually...
Rey: (He cut her in between) JAO KRIYA. (He almost shouted)
(Kriya was determined. She hugged him from behind.)
Kriya: I am sorry for being so rude. Main bahut gussa thi. Please Rey, aap mujhe maaf kardo. She was hysterical.
(Rey couldn't see her crying, but he freed himself and started playing again, his anger still evident. He flicked the ball so hard that it hit Kriya on the leg. She stumbled and fell. Rey ran towards her.)
Rey: Are you okay? I'm sorry.
Kriya: I'm sorry too.
(Rey got up and looked in the other direction, his anger lessened. Kriya also got up and took the white rose from her bag. She tapped him on the sholder. He turned. She kneeled down in front of him and looked up.
Kriya: Ye white rose sabse pehla phool hai jo aapne mujhe diya tha but i didn't accept it. Phir maine bhi apko ye white rose diya tha. Aur isi wajah se iske liye mere dil mein bahut special jagah hai.
(Rey kept listening)
Kriya: Thik 1 saal pehle humari kahani shuru hui thi aur aaj main bahut khush hun ki apni zindagi ka picchla 1 saal maine aap ke saath bitaya aur isi wajah se meri zindagi aur bhi khoobsurat ho gayi. I am really sorry Rey ki mujhe ye din yaad nahi tha.
(Rey also kneeled down beside her and put his hands on her face)
Rey: Happy Anniversary!
Kriya: Happy Anniversary! (She said amidst tears)
(He wiped her tears and they kept staring at each other then Rey kissed her on the forehead. She hugged him and he enveloped her in his arms as if protecting her from all evils. They stayed like that for quite some time then Rey got up and helped her to get up too. He offered his hand)
Rey: Shall we?
(She took his hand and they started their slow waltz both in their dreamland. Suddenly Rey said)
Rey: Acha Kriya...kal ke jhagde ko to tum bhul chuki ho na?
Kriya: Nahi to
(She said playfully knowing that he had understood her tone in the Fire-escape. She hit his nose with her finger and started running. Rey caught up with her easily and she collided with him her back hitting his chest. He put his hands around his waist and started rotating really fast)
Kriya: Reyyy...! Stop!
(But she knew that she was in safe hands. Both their worries ended, their laughter echoed in the dark night)
