After the street dance competition turned into a brawl, Swayam got hit severely in the head. When asked about it, Swayam being Swayam, neglected the hurt brushing it off as nothing. But the gang had seen the intensity in which he was hit, and they insisted on taking some medical help for it, but Swayam was adamant and he went straight home from there - leaving the gang no choice but to believe he was okay.
Swayam reached home and received a call from Rey - "Dude, are u really ok?"
"Haan Rey, m fine. Bas thodi si chot hain, main rest karunga sab theek ho jaayega. Waise bhi kal Sunday hain, toh really I'll be fine." Swayam replied. Rey though not yet convinced did not want to push Swayam too much. So he let it go. "Ok cool, I'll see you soon then. Agar kuch bhi chaahiye toh call karna ok? Goodnight", said Rey. Swayam smiled and said "Ya dude. Goodnight."
Sharon was pacing down her house feeling very uncomfortable. She wanted to be there for Swayam now. She knew he was really hurt, and also he would not take anybody's help. But she could not get the courage to face him. What would she say? He dint even want to look at her. She had screwed up things so bad, that even if she wanted to show concern, he would just think of it as fake. But then, she had come to terms with that - "I messed up, so I have to fight for it now." She thought. So without a second thought, she reached Swayam's house.
Swayam answered the door and was surprised for a minute. He was confused as to what Sharon was doing at his house at this time of the night. "Tum? Iss waqt? Yaha kya kar rahi ho?" he asked.
"Tumhari chot kaisi hain? Doctor ke paas gaye the? Does it hurt? Kya tumne khaana khaaya? Koi medicine li? Kuch toh pain killer lena chaahiye. Warna zyaada pain hogaya toh?" Shooting a million questions at him, Sharon let herself inside the house and started looking for medicines. Swayam was still shocked to see her and it took him a minute to understand what the hell was going on - either that, or his head was really hurt so badly that his brain was working very slowly. When Sharon did not get any answers, she popped her head out from the refrigerator and called out for him. "Swayam? Answer me."
"Kya?" was all Swayam could come up with. "What kya? Main kuch pooch rahi hu" Sharon demanded. "Um, nahi doctor ke paas nahi gaya. Khaana khaaliya par koi medicine nahi liya. Woh actually mujhe nahi pata ki pain killer kaunsa hai. Aur anyway it'll be fine by tomorrow. So I think you shld leave now." saying so he walked back towards the door to let her out, but Sharon did not move. Instead she found the medicine, poured a glass of water and gave them to him. Swayam took the medicine quietly not wanting to argue with her. He was exhausted - or maybe it was the hit to the head - either way he was still having a hard time trying to figure out what was going on. Sharon went back into the kitchen still meddling with some things. Swayam closed the main door and went to the kitchen. "Sharon, tum yaha kyu aayi ho? It's late. You should go home" Swayam said. "No. Main kahi nahi jaa rahi hu. Jabtak tum theek na ho jao main yahi rahungi. Do you want some tea?" She kept searching for the ingredients. "Sharon, this is not right. Ab yeh sab kyu kar rahi ho? All this is really exhausting me Sharon. Please can you leave me alone? I do not mean to be rude Sharon but I can't do this anymore" Swayam said getting all serious very suddenly. Sharon stopped what she was doing and came near him. "Did you stop loving me?" she asked.
Swayam : What?
Sharon : Did you stop loving me, Swayam?
Swayam did not want to answer that. So instead he just stared at her. So Sharon continued -
Sharon : Listen, I know maine ghalti ki hai. I know ki tum ab mujhe trust nahi karte hai. I also know ki I deserve all this. I did this to us. So I am here now. It might be too late for all this, but I am not giving up now. Jo hogaya so hogaya. Tab main kuch nahi karpayi. I am not even asking you to forgive me anymore - cause what I did cannot be forgiven. But that does not mean I don't love you. That does not mean I don't care about you. You never gave up on me. It took me a while to realize it - but now I know. You always fought for me, and now I am here to fight for you. And this time, I'm all in.
Swayam was shocked. He had a million things going on in his head. "What is wrong with this girl?" he thought. "When I was there for her - she pushed me away. And now she wants to be here for me and I don't want her to. Or do i? Yes, she hurt me. But everybody gets a second chance." And this is her zillion-th chance argued another side of his brain. How much could he forgive? How much could he forget? During the inner fight he was having with himself, he realized he was just staring at her and it was his queue to say something. "But Sharon - " he said only to be cut-off midway by Sharon.
"Swayam, hum yeh sab baath subah kare? Ab you need to rest. Tum jaake so jao aur main Chai banaake lati hu ok?" she said. Swayam stared at her more and without having anything else to say - he turned around and went to his room.
Sharon felt little light hearted as things were progressing a little bit. And any kind of progress is good progress she thought. Looking back at all the fights they had long ago, and the recent ones, she was happy things were not very dramatically wrong. They had both been through a lot and they were just going to have to push through all this to prove their love for each other. And that was what made them special.
Sharon went back to making tea when she found everything she needed. One thing she had learnt being Swayam's girlfriend - to make perfect tea.
