She was fuming with rage and he was nowhere. How irresponsible can he be? It was highly frustrating to not have your boyfriend around at this time. And it was just getting over her nerves.
She has been waiting so badly for this day to come- The Valentine's Day, but everything was now turning messy.
It was so perfectly planned that, they both will go together in the Valentine's Day celebration party as a couple and thus will make their relationship 'Official'. But how can she do it alone, he is needed.
"If you are not here till evening , then you are gone Reyaansh" She hissed.
The crowd got accommodated in the hall, where an important announcement was going to happen about the valentine's day party. Sudden the whisperings of the crowd stopped as there was an announcement was made on college radio.
"Hello Lovey Dovey Couples...Seems like already Love is in the Air. And you all must be eyeing the crown of the 'Hottest Couple'. But this time it is going to be a bit different... All the Guys have to ask their respective girl to come to the party as their date, but..Ah-ha...There is a twist in it. The most unique proposal shall be entertained and that couple will be crowned as the 'hottest couple- Made for each other'. So Guys Pull up your socks and propose your girls in a Hatke style. Our team will be keeping eye on you all.

"Shit!" She said in nervousness. What will happen now? He is not here... And they will miss that chance to become the IT-couple.
She stomped her foot harder and made her way to girls changing room. She no more wanted to be in crowd. She didn't wished to see other guy's proposing their girls as it will just remind her of her own condition.
She opened her locker, mindlessly, and something slipped over the floor. It was piece of handmade sheet, of white color, with white ribbon. She unfolded it. And for her surprise something was written in it.

"What?" She spoke out questioningly. What kind of message was that? And who sent it? She was puzzled. On one hand Rey was not even replying to her messages and on the other hand someone was sending her these messages... What an epic valentines day it is!
It was just 1 month since they both has been dating, and from the start they wanted to make it official on this important day, but at the end time, he was nowhere.
The college was organizing a special Valentine's Day party in the evening. There was so much work to do, since she was the AGS of the college, also due to the absence of GS-Rey, she had double responsibility on her shoulders.
She simply gathered her form and made her way to rehearsal hall which was temporarily made their working arena.
She got indulged in the work, it was the best way to keep her mood up. She managed everything pretty well.
"Rahul, is the lighting system checked?" She asked one of her mates.
"Yes Kria... It is.. In fact Rey told me to do so in the morning itself. Btw here is something for you. A guy told me to give it to you.." Rahul replied to a baffled kria.
Rey is talking to others? But not me? How Dare he? Didn't he have a second to wish me? She quickly took that another handmade sheet which this time was of Yellow color and unfolded it.

"God not again..." She said to herself. "But Wait a minute! Who the hell this guy is?" She thought to herself.
After all if he is ignoring her, at least there was someone who was giving her full attention. She decided to go with the flow.
An hour later she heard from someone that Rey was checking all the arrangements and the lists again in the rehearsal hall. Just to fetch a view of him she went to rehearsal hall, it was full of the students of management department and she was just lost in the crowd. Maybe she won't be able to see him. She made her way out from that place, her face lowered.
How cruel he is. He don't have time for his own girlfriend on this day.
And he had seen her in the crowd from the minute she entered the hall. He smiled. "It is going to be Fun this time.." he said to himself.
She was feeling low, not even neha's talks could impress her. What worse can happen with her?
And in the next hour the party was going to start.
He had not even asked her for party.
And she was plainly dressed, with nothing blingy, in a red and white floral frock paired with pearl earrings.
Meanwhile Neha came to her running. "Kria. tumhare liye someone brought ye..." Neha spoke out in her typical tone.
And Kria jumped up with excitement, At least there was someone who was caring for her.
She quickly in unfolded the paper, this time it was of red color, with a red rose attached to it.
"See like Adam and Eve, tragedy was a destiny

She folded it, lost in her deep thoughts. "Kria.. and the one who brought it is waiting for you, outside at the basketball court. Someone just told me to inform you," Said Swayum with his everlasting smile.
"But I don't know who is sending these messages to me Swayum.." Kria said with her lost mind.
"And Rey might get angry on me..If i went there" she said to herself.
"At least you should try out kria.." Swayum said with a pleasing smile.
Kria felt weird. Why was swayum insisting her to go? He should stop her from going as a protective friend. Something was cooking up here...
"Okay.. I will try.." Kria said with determination, she will find out who the guy is and leave, as simple as that seemed.
She reached the basketball court. It was dark here, and it irked her. Should she step inside?
After looking all around and finding it safe she stepped inside.
"Anyone?" She spoke out in her weak voice. And she saw a guy standing there with his back towards her.
"Look..I am here to say that... Erm... I am sorry to disappoint you.. But I already committed." She said biting her lips.
"Well.. I don't think your boyfriend will mind if I spend this evening with you...my beautiful.." He said in his husky tone.
And hearing those words she was initially confused, but on realizing who was speaking them, she was shocked.
"You..." She stammered.
He turned around and suddenly the lights were turned on. And she saw him standing facing her, with that loving smile on his face.
He bent down on his knees and forwarded his hand.
"Will you be my Valentine?" He asked her to which she stared him with her annoyed look.
"You know what.. You go to hell... You ignored me the whole day... You didn't talked to me.. neither replied to my messages.. and instead you played Hide and seek with me.." She said with her cute pout.
"I am sorry na Kria.." He said with his persuading smile. "Now quickly say yes..." he added.
"Umm.. What if I become Date of someone else? Sorry Reyaansh... You are late...Someone else asked me first..." She said with a sorry look.
"What?" He got up immediately, perplexed.
"See..You deserve this for making your girlfriend wait..." She said laughing.
"You are kidding right?" He said holding her frame.
"No I am not kidding.. I fell in love with that guy.. He sent me so loving messages... wrapped in those beautiful ribbons..." She said still laughing...
" And that guy was Me. So you mean Yes?" He asked her, looking in her eyes promisingly.
"A absolute Yes! But I still love that Guy more.." She said laughing again..

That evening was certainly the most beautiful evening. They got the title of the Hottest couple, and with that made their relationship official. They danced on slow harmonious music, for few seconds every thing around was still, and they were stuck in the moment, pleasantly.
"Happy Valentine's Day Jaan..." He whispered in her ears.
"Happy Valentine's Day..." She said and continued dancing in his arms, with her head resting peacefully on his chest and his hands wrapped around her waist lovingly.
