Chapter - 2
"Haan baba, main bilkul safely pohonch gayi. Now stop worrying for God's sake!" She was speaking into the phone, "Pakka yar! Just give me half an hour..." She giggled and disconnected the call.
"Guys, ab hum college ke guest house nahi, mere friend ke farm house ja rahe hain." She addressed her group.
"What! But you said ke hume college ke guest house mein rehna compulsory hai?" The lead dancer of the group, Satwik interrupted.
"Ohh come on Satwik! Itne rules kaun maanta hai!" She tapped his shoulder.
He shrugged her hand off.
"Main maanta hun! An please, hum disqualify bhi ho sakte hain..." He almost yelled.
"Okay fine! You take all of them along woth you - to the college guest house and main apne friend ke ghar jati hun. Later, I'll join you all. Fine?" She asked calmly, wothout losing her temper.
He smiled.
"Awesome! That's what makes you the 'Kria Ghai'" He spoke, air-quoting her name.
Kria smiled and bid them all good bye. As they left, she thought of informing Swayam about the change in plan. She tried his no. repeatedly, but he didn't receive. She didn't get worried as she knew how hectic would his schedule be. He was the ACS aferall...!

Rey was pacing in front of Swayam's house since past 1 hour - waiting for him. And, cursing his dear sweet sister as well!
Suddenly, he heard a car stop. Turning, he found that it was a taxi. Wait. Taxi! What the hell was a taxi doing here...? And, had Swayam been expecting some visitor?
All his thoughts subsided as he saw a girl step out from it. She had her long straight hair spread all over her shoulders, so he couldn't see her face. She wore a skin fit denim below a floral-loose-full sleeved top. She had a huge bag with her, which signified that she was here for a stay. Gosh!
He couldn't understand why, but as he observed her keenly, while she paid and fought woth the driver, he found her built and appearance quite familiar. He wondered why... But he felt he'd seen her somewhere. In fact, more than just seen.
In a swift motion, she turned and started walking towards him - precisely, the gate. She had sunglasses on and they hindered his view.
It was when she had come to his side of the road, that he finally saw her face clearly. And recognising her - made him stop breathing for a while. She was Kria. His Kria. What? No, not his. She never was. But, she was Kria Ghai! The one who ruthlessly tore his heart apart, and never looked back at him. And today, she was approaching the gate of Swayam's place!
He was still pondering whether she was actually there, when he geard a thumping sound. Coming out from his thought, he saw that she was thumping the gate.
"SWAYAM !! Gate kholo!" She was speaking in that ever-melodious voice of hers.
Wait. Melodious? God, he'd definitely lost his senses. He mentally slapped himself.
Meanwhile, he realised that she'd been completely oblivious to him. She was pretending as if no one stood there. He gritted his teeth. Fine. She was Kria and he was Reyaansh, and they weren't supposed to be chatting. But, no one on this earth had ever had guts to so royally ignore him! How could she?
"Ahem.." He cleared his throat, hoping to get her attention. What? Attention! No... So effin not! He did that to make her register his presence. Only.
And it worked.
She looked in his direction, with a start. She did register his presence. But, her expression seemed alienated. As if she was looking at a stranger.
But, being the Kria Ghai she was - she spoke up.
"Ohh, hi! Am sorry maine aapko notice nahi kia. You are the AGS of St. Louis na?" She asked casually, as his his jaw dropped open with the frightful shock.
'Did she just pretend as if she doesn't know me?' He spoke in his mind, as his jaw hung lower.
"Excuse me!" She furrowed her brows, and removed her glasses.
He realised his state, and closed his mouth. Clearing his throat yet again, he began.
"Ye.. Yeaa. Th.. The AGS." He stuttered.
"Yeah. So I knew that correctly." She smiled at him.
His breath stopped. What the hell had happened to this girl? Why was she behaving as if she'd never ever known him? Or, did she have a memory loss or something?
Thoughts filled his mind, as he looked at her with held up breath.
"Don't gape like this!" She brought him back.
By the looks he could tell, she was uncomfortable under his stare. But her Kria never did. Ohh, not again! She never 'belonged' to him!
"Umm... Koi problem hai kya?" She asked, growing serious.
He closed his mouth and realised how he'd been behaving like a jerk. But, her attitude left him no other option.
"Ohh.. Am sorry." He spoke quickly and looked away.
"Well, hello Mr. AGS. I am Kria. Kria Ghai." She said extending her hand with a genuine smile.
What the effin shit was this !! She was introducing herself to him, as if they'd never known each other! He returned back to his gaping mode, and she again grew uncomfortable.
"Excuse me?" She spoke a bit irritated.
He simply shook his hand, without mending his expressions.
"Reyaansh Singhania."
She smiled, pulled her hand back and continued.
"Actually, I am here for the Dance Fest 2014. I belong to William's College of Management, Dehradun."
"Hmm... For that you may talk to the GS. She takes all the decisions." He spoke sternly.
"Ohh. Kaun hai GS?"
"Taani Shekhawat."
"What!" She exclaimed, "Swayam ki cousin?" She almost screamed.
"Yeaa.." He whispered.
His insides burning with rage. This girl quite remembered Swayam. Even her stupid sister. But 'Reyaansh Singhania' was anew guy in the scenario. Since when? He clenched his fists and gritted his teeth, as frustration got the better of him. Spark to it was added by her mumblings.
"Swayam cheezein chhupane laga hai... Taani yahan ki GS hai, aur mujhe khabar tak nahi... Now he'll have to pay for this..." She was mumbling to herself, but he was hearing everything.
Not being able to bear anymore, he caught her by the arm, and pinned her to the gate. Her tiny form crushed beneath his masculine frame, as she winced. He held her wrists on the sides of her face, as she winced more.
"Ye... Yeh kya ka... Kar rahe ho aap..." She stammered, in pain.
"Tum kya kar rahi ho Kria?" He thundered, making her shiver, "Don't you remember me? How could you forget the foolish brat who'd fallen in your trap two years back? Tumhe Swayam yaad hai... Even uski wo idiot behen bhi yaad hai... But mere sath aisa behaviour jaise mujhe jaanti hi nahi! Tum pagal ho gayo ho kya Kria?" He yelled at her face.
He'd expected her to be badly hurt. Even a few tears won't have surprised him. But her reaction did.
She smirked. Looked into his eyes and whispered.
"So you don't mind my presence Mr. Singhania? Swayam ne galat kaha tha... Great then! Ab se I'll remember you." She winked, and he was at loss...
Loss of words...
Loss of expressions...
Loss of breath...
And he feared being at loss of life...!
