Well to be honest I am not entirely satisfied with the episode. But first lets stick to the positive aspect of the episode. Without doubt it was Swayam and his conversation with his dad which was the best thing for me in the episode. I must say I was pleasantly surprised by it. The way his dad apologized for being a jerk all these days was really nicely done and the hug in the end between the two awesome. But the highlight was definitely the parting shot where Swayam said whatever the result of the competition maybe but he has already won and his dad reminding him in stern voice that he may not be strict now but still he had to aim for that trophy and then dramatically adding otherwise there is always a next time. I must say this was a classic stuff. Nicely done father-son moment. And a beautiful glimpse into the changed or the future dynamics of Swayam and his dad.
Now coming to the thing which bounced over my head and irked me. Seriously Swayam's dad still needed an eye lens called Rey to see his son's ability? And exactly what special thing Rey do that Swayam's dad ended up saying it was him due to which he started seeing dancers in different light and all the heavy dialogues which he pulled. Please tell me its not just because of that basket ball match which Rey played in that college. Because apart from other than that all the things said about him like him being sports captain and all was just a bunch of lie. And if seriously the basket ball is the reason please some one send a recording of the ultimate basket ball match of Indian television to know who is the champion.
Second thing which I felt really odd was between all the conversation between Swayam and his dad Sharon was not mentioned once. Leave alone being given the credit for making all this possible. Because to be honest no one deserve the credit more than Sharon for this. Before it was done with Swayam and now the philosphy of 'neki kar aur dariya mein daal' is used for Sharon too just because someone else can be credited? This was seriously not done. But chalo atleast Swayam knows who is responsible for the change. But I seriously hope there is a conversation in store for us between Sharon and Swayam's dad.
And now finally coming on Swayam. He is simply the champion; a true winner who may win a trophy or not but always end up winning people's heart. A person who no matter what the result is always wins up the respect of his opposition (remember Basket ball match), a captains who leads from front, take responsibility for loss and moves silently in case of win letting other celebrate and be under the lime light. A person who no matter what always remain grounded and always inspire all with his humbleness. In short he is one true inspiration for us all. And I am proud of being his fan. And this could not have been possible without the brilliance of Shantanu. He is simply mesmerizing as Swayam and I really hope he continue to dazzle us like this.
