@Angel- This was actually a challenge for me re. Seriously. i spent 1 whole day just thinking about what do I show? Why would Rey start dancing and stuff.. And finally cam up with this. It is lame. đ
This is the first time I am writing something like this. Usually I write emotional stuff as you all know. đ So kindly co-operate with this... Stuff!

"Remember Rey, Aunty is quite modern. Ekdum fun types. And Uncle is kind of serious. He is really into business and all. So you can impress him quickly. AndâŚ" Swayam was saying the same thing to Rey for the hundredth time.
"Arre! Haan na, Swayam. Pichle 3 din se yahi bol raha hai tu. Tu itna tension mat le, Taani aur meri shaadi hai. Teri aur meri nahi." Rey said to cool him down. Swayam was more hyper and tensed than Rey himself. Rey was quite confident about himself. So what if his girlfriend's parents were coming to see him for their marriage? He was Rey Singhania afterall. Use bhala koi bacha hai?
"Hey hey hey! Keep it clean, Rey." Sharon, Swayam's wife, said as she heard what Rey just said.
"Okay! I was just trying to calm him down." He said raising his hands in the air as if surrendering himself. "Now please will you guys sit down? I can't believe you are more tensed than me. Chill out."
Swayam shook his head as he settled on the chair, "You won't understand, Rey. Taani is like my sister."
"Sister-in-law." Sharon corrected.
Rey looked towards them, shook his head and said smiled, "Yeah! How would I understand? Taani isn't like my sister, na?" he tried cracking a joke and started laughing at his PJ himself.
"I can't believe you are sitting here, cracking PJs at this time. How can you be so chilled out?" Sharon said with astonishment.
"Well.. That's me."
They sat there looking around. Taani's parents had decided this place for meeting up. It was a funky, classy restaurant. It wasn't a 5 star hotel but it had class. They were sitting on a table which was kept outside. It was cold at nights even now. The cool breeze passed him which sent a chill down his spine. Well, he was a bit nervous. But would he show it? Not at all, after all Reyaansh Singhania can never be afraid of anyone, right?
"Hey, Rey. They are here." Swayam said as he got up.
Rey gulped down some saliva and stood up. He adjusted his coat and looked towards the entrance. He could see Taani walking in. Wow! She looked absolutely stunning in that blue dress. Her hair left open and curled. He blinked once. How could someone look so angelic? So gorgeous? He was adoring her when she stopped, waved at the trio and then turned back.
"I guess her parents are coming now." Swayam shared another brainwave he just had.
"Oh yeah?" I asked with sarcasm evident in every word.
"Yeah." He replied. I rolled my eyes and looked over the entrance again. I saw a huge, fat woman walk in. She was double the size of a car. Big stomach and short height. Deadly combo. Literally deadly.
"That's Taani's mom?" I asked, shocked.
"Who? That fat old lady in the red dress? Nahi re. Taani's mom coming now. See?" Swayam replied.
I looked back at the entrance and saw a woman, who looked as if she was 40, walk in the restaurant along with a plump man. She was wearing a white knee-length dress. She wasn't exactly slim. She wasn't fat too. She was just kind of 'wow'. She looked so graceful. Looking graceful isn't easy when you are 50 something. No wonder she is Taani's mom. Her hair was short- shoulder length. The man alongside her was wearing a black pant with a white shirt. He had white hair.
The trio walked towards us. Rey's heartbeat quickened as they took every step forward. Damn! He was never this nervous before. Finally, after a minute or so, they were there, standing in front of us. Rey gulped down the lump in his throat again and went towards them. He first walked towards Taani, kissed her on her cheeck and then stood straight in front of her parents, waiting for Taani to introduce them to him.
"Um.. Papa, this is Rey. Owner of the RS Consultants and my boss." Taani started to say, "and Rey, this is my dad." She completed.
Rey smiled at his to be father-in-law and offered his hand for a shake hand, "Nice to meet you, sir." Sir? Seriously Rey? He shook the thought from his mind and concentrated on making his impression on them.
"Hm. Owner of the RS Consultants? Nice." He said as he shook his hands with Rey. "Come let's sit." He said and lead Rey towards the table along with him before he could even greet Taani's mom. He looked back at them and saw Taani look at him with her eyes wide open. He made an expression to tell her that he couldn't help it.
"This guy is your boyfriend, Taani?" Taani's mom asked her, whispering.
"Umm.. Yeah. Well, papa dragged him, right?" she tried defending Rey.
"Yeah. Come let's sit." Taani's mom said. Taani could sense that she wasn't really convinced by her tone.
They went and sat on the circular table. Rey was already sitting beside Mr. Shekhawat when the duo reached the table. Mrs. Shekhwat settled on the other chair which was beside her hubby. Taani sat down beside her. Swayam and Sharon were beside Rey.
They ordered some mocktails and some snacks in the beginning. Mr. Shekhawat was busy in interrogating Rey while others were sitting there quietly listening to them.
"So, Rey. How long have you been in this business?"
"Right after college, sir. Since my dad.. died."
"Oh.. I am sorry." He said after a while.
"That's fine, sir." Rey smiled.
The duo kept on talking. Taani's dad was quite impressed with Rey. Managing a whole consultancy firm all alone at this age was commendable. He was just 25 and so responsible. Taani's choice wasn't that bad afterall.
They were talking and talking and talking when Mrs. Shekhawat interrupted their conversation, "Arre bhai, humein bhi koi dekh lo." A bit of sarcasm evident in her voice.
"Maa.." Taani said softly asking her not to sound rude.
"Waise, Reyaansh.." Her mom started saying.
"Please aunty, Call me Rey." Rey smiled and corrected her.
She smiled back and said, "Okay. So, Rey. Tum kya har waqt aise hi business ki baatein karte ho? I mean, after marriage Taani toh bore hi ho jayegi." She finished and chuckled. Taani hid her face in her palms and Sharon giggled along with her mom.
Rey thought for a while and then said, "I'll just be back. Excuse me." And he stood up and walked away.
"God! Maa. Kya zaroorat thi yeh kehne ki. It's so embarrassing." Taani said to her mom.
"But, Taani. Mom toh sahi keh rahi hai. Shaadi ke baad kya hoga tumhara?" Sharon supported her mother and giggled again.
"Di! You guys are so.." she was about to complete when they heard some music.
*music*
The family turned to look at the orchestra. They got a shock to see Rey standing there in front of the orchestra with a mic in his hand. Taani's eyes widened and she looked towards Swayam and Sharon in disbelief. She turned her gaze back to Rey when he started saying something.
That's right, baby.
Aunty ji, this one's for you.
He said into the mic and pointed towards Taani's mom. Everyone led out a giggle and watched to see what he was gonna do now.
*music*
He started dancing and moving towards the dance floor.

He did a few dance steps and walked further towards the family.

He kneeled down in front of Mrs. Shekhawat and covered his face with his hand. As the first line came to an end he gave his body a slight jerk, stood up and gave a thumka. He grabbed Taani's hand and led her on the dance floor along with him.

Lakhon dilon pe dale dore-dore
He moved his fingers on her cheeks while moving to the other side and then acted as an arrow hit his heart.
Dekho diwane hue jaa rahe hai
Aadhe umar ke bhi chore chore
He did some dance moves along with Taani and then pointed towards a gang of boys who were going all crazy over a girl.
Ha baalon ki safedi
Se phika kab hua hai
Roma.. aa.. aa.. ance
He went towards Mrs. S. and did a few steps.

They danced back towards the dance floor and did the signature aunty ji step.

The orchestra member started singing. Swayam and Sharon too joined Taani and Rey on the dance floor.

Taani Rey danced together. They did some amazing steps. A few salsa locks.

Rey acted as if he was doing some chihora-panti with Taani.

Taani gave a flying kiss to Rey and he fell down on the ground.

He sat up and sang the first line. He stood up and went towards the drinks counter.

He took a glass of wine and went towards the table where Taani's parents were still sitting.

He kept the glass on the table, in front of Mrs. S. and gave her a slight pinch on her cheeck.

Taani came and pulled his ear as she sang the lines.

Naam pukarne mein no re no re
Rey removed Taani's hand from his ear and sang.

Toh bachne ka nahi koi cha.. a.. a.. ance
They danced back to the dance floor and Rey twirled Taani.

They again did the signature aunty ji step.

Rey went towards the table and pulled Taani's mom out of the chair. He brought her to the dance floor and did some amazing steps with her. Everyone in the restaurant by then had surrounded them and hooted as they danced.
*music changes*
Rey left Mrs. S. as she did a few steps herself. Everyone shouted as she completed.

Rey bent down to the height of her waist and rose up singing the song.

Rey moved his hand around her face and winked at her.

He took Mrs. S. towards the place where Mr. S. was standing.

Mr. S. spat out the drink he was having as he heard what Rey just said.

Woh behene lage hai aunty
He pointed towards where Taani and Sharon were standing together. They frowned as Rey sang and Mrs. S. giggled.
Paani mein jaake muh dhole dhole
Chede kyun mujhe batameez chore?
Sharon came and pulled him by his collar and brought him to the dance floor.
Dhone se batameezi jaati nahi
Chedenge unhi tujhe chore chore
Rey removed her hand and twirled her round.
Haan baalon ki safedi
Se phika kab hua hai romaa.. aa.. aa.. ance
Taani and Swayam pulled Mr. and Mrs. S. to the dance floor.

All of them danced along with each other. Rey Taani, Swayam Sharon and Mr. and Mrs. S.

They did the aunty ji signature step together and Rey ended the song at a high note.
Everyone laughed as they settled back on the table.
"End mein kuch jyada hi ho gaya tha, Rey." Swayam said as he laughed.
Rey ruffled his hair and Taani pinched his cheeck lightly looking at the cute and adorable Rey.
They ordered the dinner and talked a lot. This time everyone talked. Soon, they had finished their dinner and were about to leave. All of them were standing at the gate of the restaurant.
Rey and Taani were standing beside each other. Mr. and Mrs. S. were standing just opposite to them. Sharon and Swayam had already left.
"So it's a good night now, Rey. Had fun." Mr. S. said.
"Loads of fun." Mrs. S. corrected him.
Rey smiled and said, "Good night then, uncle aunty."
Taani started to walk towards her parents but Rey's grip on her waist didn't let her move.
She looked at him with wide eyes and whispered, "Let me go, Rey."
"No." he whispered back.
Taani looked at her parents and gave an awkward smile.
"Oh.." Taani's mom exclaimed. "Shekhar, we should go now. Taani we will be waiting for you." She smiled and left along with her hubby.
Soon, when they were gone, Rey turned Taani towards him and kept his hands on her shoulders.
"So.. To be Mrs. Reyaansh Singhania, how are you feeling?"
"Well.. Not good. Tumse shaadi karni padegi. Apne boss se." she made a sick face.
"Really?" he said coming close to her.
She blushed a bit and got lost in his hazel eyes. He was coming near her as every moment passed. The distance between both of them was decreasing when⌠"MAA!" Taani shouted and Rey jumped back. Taani started laughing. Rey looked at her in disbelief. She went towards him, gave a peck on his lips and started walking off. "She you tomorrow, boss." She shouted from back and ran towards the car.
"Yeah!' he said to himself and smiled.
