well put..though rey is not my fav character, i agree his love is true...for all the reasons u put above...but cv should show his monologues after break up which shows his pains...they dont show rey's side that is why many ppl think that he is not sad at all...but he being happy n at ease with friends is typical boy thinh..boys dont roam around keeping sad face...so i dont have any objection with him being happy with swaron n gang but yes his monologues are needed to show his feelings of loneliness , that would bring lil consistency in his character...
