I know everyone's sick of hearing the same old sob story of SwaRon fans. That its been more than 2 years since Swayam and Sharon have been portrayed as a to-be couple in the show,more than two years since Swayam has been depicted as the ultimate romantic who would never look at any other girl apart from Sharon,more than two years and Sharon has still not accepted in front of Swayam that she loves him or that she had always loved him but realized it only now,more than two years since we've all been waiting hoping to see some ray of hope with each passing episode,with each new online article or promo that comes out every week.
Yes you've all heard us crib from months...and I still wonder why we're continuing to crib when we know our expectations will never be met in the show.
It has happened time and again that SwaRon fans are considered to be love-struck kids who'd be easily satisfied if they are shown one SwaRon dance,a handful of SwaRon scenes and a scene where Swayam or Sharon just silently admire the other etc.
Yes,I admit we are a bunch of lovesick fools who'd be happy with such scenes but even we feel betrayed when we get to know that all this was just used to silence us so that the focus can be easily shifted to other things that don't interest us. This too has happened more than often and the CV's know we don't like it but they still continue to do so. Fine way to show how much they care for fans' emotions.
We have no qualms in accepting that we have immense respect for Palki ma'am. We know she was hell bent on continuing the SwaRon track as it was even after one of the main leads left. We know SwaRon is very close to her heart. But it's not enough if that is just said in interviews and articles. We need some proof that SwaRon are actually special to the show and not just someone who're used to calm down fans' outbursts.
SwaRon scenes have an infamous history of being left open-ended,of being left hanging in mid-air,of having no substantial effects on future scenes and tracks. We have been gritting our teeth and tolerating this unfairness from a VERY long time. We're probably the only fandom in history having had to wait for more than two years for their couple to actually become a couple,of having our hopes and expectations thrashed so many times and who're still sticking to the show looking for something good despite all the disappointments.
I'm not going to conclude by leaving a warning note to the CV's or a plea for mercy or some woeful request. Because I know that'll only be considered as another demand for a SwaRon dance or another open-ended SwaRon scene and then we'll be back to square one.
Heck,I don't even know why I made this topic despite knowing its all useless and worthless. Guess I just wanted to vent out a bit of my frustration. Nothing new about that too.
Actually, what IS new in D3 now?
Anything to look forward to at all?
Someone please enlighten me.
