Taani is not the real daughter of tauji. Tauji loves taani and feels her as his responsibility that her mother give him. Taarey are in love. If tauji get to know that Rey is dancer.He never accepts Rey. Taani never go against his tauji.If Mr Rishi shikawat is her own father then she definitely have a right to defent herself becoz of her love.She can confidently tell him that she cant live without REY.
