Sharon had lied to save her from VP i agree but she dint do the same which was did by Taani...

and about the Sharon's dint say about taani's lie is not the time factor as u said, if sharon want to tell she can blurt out the next second taani said about event...u just rewatch the scene...the way the arguement had heated up between taani and sharon...there is no gap between the dialouges...they just argued what their mind said...about the dates, informing the dates etc etc if sharon want she can blurt out the truth the next immediate second taani blurt the truth because of that heated arguement...

Sharon dint let out the truth because she dont want to let out in whatever the condition she is presently in...She dint let out the truth to the gang in RH and also not to the VP in projector room...

If we look at the present characterization of Sharon, sharon dont want to let the truth out as rey is her friend and u agree or not i dont know but she cares for taani...As a GS she may or maynot be depending on the situations and circumstances but taani as a rey's GF and swayam sis she cares for her...
