Well to be honest I have quite mixed feeling right now. I was spellbound during the entire sequence it goes without saying but still I felt something bit amiss. More on that later. But before that as I had said before on Friday I just loved the way this dance was set up. And today also I loved the way Sharon did everything to persuade Swayam to dance with her to take his mind from Swayam's father's behavior towards him. Dancing with Sharon - one couldn't find better distraction than this for Swayam. Intelligently done. Then the way entire dance was choreographed matching the serene lyrics of such a beautiful song was one amazing experience which not just for our senses but for our soul too. It was a divine experience into itself.
Hats of to both Vrushika and Shantanu for this splendid performance. It was evident from some of the lifts they were in pain (as they said about hurting their neck in the IV) but the way went through the steps with such a panache was bewitching. Kudos to Sumit-Vinod too for such amazing choreography. Its one thing to conceptualize a dance on peppy number but to think of a full fledged dance on a song like 'Maula mere' in a way that it sweeps us of our feet and usher to us altogether in a different world along with the characters was just fantastic. All the bits in it whether it was the classical or the contemporary were used perfectly making this sequence one enthralling performance. Great work everyone.
Now as I have said before something was amiss. It was nothing but the usual lack of monologue. I can understand there was no place for dialogue at the moment as both were themselves surprised what happened to them that they danced that way. But this was a place for a monologue where both of them try to learn what there heart want. I was disappointed to find it missing. I still hope we have their monologue and conversation lined up.
And well finally I am satisfied with this sequence. I seriously was wishing for thing to get uncomfortable between Swayam and Sharon. And thank God after this intimate dance sequence it will. It was very much needed to bring them out of comfortable friends zone. And thank GOD it was not the jealousy track which was used for it. Looking forward to the next SwaRon meet and their changed dynamics now.
