Chapter 2 : Loves feels like heaven, but can make your life hell.

I was on my laptop at home finalizing the stuff for the charity event. Did I tell you the play was a part of the Charity Event? Actually, the charity event was being organized for the students of St. Louis School. And I being the CS had to make the event a success. So here was I, doing the needful.

"Hey Sharon" Sim called from the other end of the phone.

"Hey Sim. What's the gossip?"

"How do you guess it dude?"

"Well, simple! Its 2 am. What else wud it be ?" I laughed.

"As I say, you rock Sharon" Sim is a sweetheart!

"Yeah I know" I laughed. "Maska baad mein maarna ab tell me what's hot?"

"Its Ritika, Sharon"

"Ritika? She's not hot man." I laughed again.


"Oh Sharon, tum bhi na" she laughed. "Well, I saw her today when you were talking to Swayam in the BB court. I am sure she's going to goof up" What else cud you expect from a bitch like Ritika?


"Argh, that bi"

"Sharon" she said in a stern voice.

"Okay, I'm sorry" She never lets me use 'BITCH'. She says it doesn't suit me rather my personality. Sim is a sweetheart, told you! "But Sim, she deserves this.. doesn't she? I mean common man she is always after me. Don't you remember what she did in RDX sir's party? I can't imagine what would have happened if it wasn't Swayam"

Okay, so we all were there. She brought drinks (and by drinks I mean soft drinks) for all of us. We weren't enemies then, so I willingly accepted one. But who knew that she had mixed up vodka in my drink. Unlike her, I'm not used to it. I really don't remember what happened after that but I just know that I was with Swayam, safe in his arms. I wudn't have been able to face myself it was someone else. That was the day my respect for Swayam increased much more. That was the first time I realized how much he loves me.

"I know man. She is a psycho. And btw, Swayam haaan? Sharon talking about Swayam? Something new haan?" and she started teasing me.

"Shut up Sim" I don't know why but I always end up taking about Swayam! Argh! Swayam why are you so addictive?

"Oh common Sharon. Even you know how much he loves you. You guys are meant to be" I know he loves, but were we really meant to be?

"Don't you have to sleep? It's late!" I changed the topic. Clever I am.

"Changed the topic?" She knows me hell well! That's why you can't hide anything from your best buddies.

"Oh, so you want to talk about Swayam?" Please don't say yes. I might end up telling you that I loved him, or maybe I thought so.

"You want to?" She started teasing me again. Babes, you are dead now!

"Obviously no!"
"Oh shit! I got to go. Mum's coming. Goodnite"

"Goodnite babes" I cut the call.

Dekha jaye, toh I changed the topic, but I hadn't really moved on. I stood near the window, looking up, at the moon. I was lost, lost in my thoughts. All the memories of the RDX sir's party flashed in front of me as I looked at the moon. I could see myself and Swayam in the moon. Swayam was sitting next to me, we cried, we smiled, we laughed. He hugged me, I felt safe in his arms. He made me feel special.

Where we really meant to be? Was he the one? Do I deserve him? What took me so long to realize it? Was I in love with him? Was it real ? Thousands of questions popped in my mind. I was confused. VERY confused. I haven't seen myself being so unsure of something ever in my life before. Swayam, stop doing this to me. They say love feels like heaven, yeah it might, but it can make your life hell.
