Taani, is she really that bad?

Hi all :)

ok well i just saw the new promo... looking forward to Taani's dance... but being an actress Taani doesn't seem that bad of a dancer, obviously we will find out when the episodes are out but i think she might just start improving as the show goes on, because footloose is coming up too... If Taani is 6th dancer for Weaklings, Palki Mam may have thought this through, maybe Taani is actually a good dancer? she just isn't recognised for it? I don't know to be honest... but she has proved to be an acceptable member of D3 with her acting in the show... Her bubbliness and innocence brings a totally different point of viewing the show... lets see how it goes...

Taani - Acting is decent enough, I mean , the same level where most of the D3 members were when they started off.

The effervescence of her character, is nice, and it makes her watchable.

Her immature stalker-ness is the real weirdness. I mean, if she was 13 then such kind of 'love' would still be okayed. But a college-goer falling so bad for a guy just by seeing his pictures and dance videos. Not really =S !!

Her dance = not the level of any of the cast members forget even comparing to Shakti.

And that shouldn't have been compromised upon considering dance is the novelty factor of the show =)

Otherwise, I'm not against her or for her as of now =)

yeah i found the stalkie stuff a bit weird too... chalta hai, it makes the show wrk sumhw...

noi havnt seen her dance properly so i cnt judge... but yeah they shud hav chosen a girl who has the capability to learn all the dances and perform them like the rest of the cast... yess! nooo comparison to shakti!

i think mayb bcuz she is a ta new to dance she might pick it up later on in the show... i reli hope sharon is the 6th dancer... cuz i dnt think taani wud b able to pull it off...

lets see hw it goes... :)

well you should not have even thought of comparing to shakti as comparison is not allowed on d3 forum

and yeah well i disagree she is meant to be an actor isnt she then why is she acting ilke the d3 members who started out as dancers acted first

she should be acting better but she is only matching up to them and they are dancers and so she cant act better than them being in that profession and also dancing she cant dance that well i mean it is easy steps and they have made swaron BG dancers for that which is not acceptable so she is for me bringing the stnadard down but will wait and see how it goes

I like her except for the fact that shes over bubbly ...being fun and bubbly is different ...and smiling all the day is different ..Now if i try to remember about her acting ...the only thing i see is her smiling face ..acting is more than jus smiling...

Sorry, im still quite new to IF... :) u cnt compare her to shakti tho... taani isnt gud enuf dancer...

The d3 members started off as not so gud actors, mayb she is like that too... i mean she only just came na? yeah i was disappointed with that too... i thot swaron shud hav lead bcuz taani is still learning... but yes lets just wait n c...

i guess so... she has a nice smile but mayb she shud use it a lil less for the show, but all in all, she still isnt that bad... :)

oh thats kool! thank u for sharing that... well i havnt seen her as a dancer b4 so i wudnt knw... hw did u cme to find out??

i think Vrinda is a better actress than Shakti!! (both of their first tv shows... but Vrinda is more convincing!)

Shakti is a great dancer no doubt but Vrinda shouldnt be compared to a professional dancer/dance reality winner! I'm sure she'll be decent enough according to the story line!

@Angelic_Aditi... well if Vrinda's a dancer then thats awesome! I'm sure Palki M thought this through before casting her!
