Anyway, this Sharon as you put her, I am expecting her too, and hopefully, they keep her just as real as she is now, she's more ordinary than any other girl there, you know? That's her.

anyhow, coming to the post-- Word on everything you said about Sharon, the character. When I started following their story, I too assumed that she is just another egoistic character, the quintessential "mean girl" of the show. And she did project that image in the first scene where she whacks swayam publicly and walks away while the guy just stood there. You only come to know her as you see more of Swayam with her. It's as if Swayam had been peeling layer after layer so far until you get to the core. Now that Swayam stopped the peeling process, it is up to her to carry it on and this week's been tremendous in terms of that. Yeah it's true that she still tries to put on that image every now and then, but unlike earlier now she's got to put effort in doing so...it just shows!
Both characters are good in their own way but I tend to like Sharon's characterization more. Partly because she is such a conflicted character. But it is also very true that Sharon as a character by itself wouldn't have had the same impact as it has when combined with Swayam's character. Same goes for the other way around as well.

Sorry to butt in and off-topic but do go read the A Song of Ice and Fire series by George RR Martin if you havent already, the finest characterisation in fantasy, amazing amazing read but beware the series is extremely extremely dark .

The series has been made into a HBO show where the title derives from the first book" Game of Thrones"

Forgive me if I sound like a proud mother, Ive been trying to get people to read this series for 10 years and now its becoming so popular because of HBO that I am super excited to have more people to discuss it with.
