Hi all, this is my first ever fanfiction and that too on our Gitya.
This one will probably have many more parts but I cannot promise you all when I can provide you all with, so apologies in advance. Also, everything depends on your review, whether you all like it or not and honestly I am anxious about the comments đĽą
This is in hinglish and is unedited so apologies for any mistake.
Backstory : This is after Daarji returns from the Tirath and Gitya goes to talk with him that very day after diiner.
A lot has already changed between them making the domestic vibes too prominent too miss !
Ginni has ditched 'ji' and 'app' while taking to Aditya embracing 'Aditya' and 'tum' while Aditya shares all his plans , motives, thoughts and advices to her.
Akash has become a complete bhaiya-bhabhi boy and Gitya's live also revolves him a bit to much.....â¤ď¸
The way I have always wanted the story to shape â¤ď¸
Thanks for reading....
âIt isnât a happy marriage, daarji, hum ek sath khush nahi hain.â Adi said. âAur nahi kabhihonge!â Ginni added hastily.
Daarjistood up from the chair, âtum dono ne ekbaar ek doosre ko chance bhi nahi diya!âHe said sadly. It was only the very morning he had returned from Tirath and now he had to listen to all these.
âEk baar chance dekhar ko toh dekhâŚâ
âIs mainchance dene ya nahi dene ki baat nahi hain, Daarji.â Adi cut him off politely.
âHaanDaarji, aap Samaj nahi paa rahe hain! Yeh shaadi maine mazboori main kari thi,par aab hum mazboor nahi hain nah.â Ginni emphasized. It was already too late, she needed to go back now, to her dhabba, to her home and to her family.
âHaanDaarji, Ginni ne yeh shaadi sirf aur sirf goldie ke liye kari thiâŚâ Adi somewhat trailed off, Daarji looked at him immediately, his eyes, his voice seemed to convey something else than what his words did.
âYeh mujhelag raha hain, aisa kuch nahi hain.â Daarji said to himself nevertheless.
âThik hain, main tum logo ko force karne wala koi nahi hoon, jo marzi wahi karo tum log.â He finally said and turned around.
Ginni and Adi looked at each other once and Ginni quickly moved forward in an attempt tocoax the visibly heartbroken grandfather.
âDaarji, aap aise kyun kahe rahe hain Daarji, dekhiye maine aapko sach main mere Daarjiki tarha hi humesa socha hain, aur aur akash ko apne bhai ki tarha. Main ayungi nah apse aur usse milne Daarji. Ginni tried her best to uplift the poor soulâsmood but in vain. He didnât ever turn back to look at them. Defeated she lookedat Adi, who held her hands and dragged her to a corner.
âAb kuch nahi bolte hain, baad main baat karna hi sahi hoga.â He adviced in a hushed tone. âWaise bhi permission toh mil gayi.â
âHmm.â
âAate hain Daarji.â
âKab jarahi hain tu, Ginni puttar ?â Daarji asked still facing the wall but they had no answer. They had always planned thatGinni would leave when Daarji would give permission but exactly when they were yet to plan.
âAaj hi Daarji.â She said out of the blue while Adi looked at her surprised. âSab packing kaise karogi?â Ginni lip readAdi. âKar lungi.â She mouthed.
âAdi puttartum usse uska ghar drop karge aaoge, raat ho gayi hain.â
âJi,Daarji.â
And withthis they set off towards their room.
Ginni closed the door while Adi flopped on the bed. âFinally.â He asserted. âFinally, Daarji maan
gaye.â
âHmm,haanji.â
Adi caught her glimpse once and closed his eyes. Let that sink in, she is finally going back.
Ginni sat on the bed beside him and looked at the person whom she used to think as a heartless, emotionless arrogant man. But she had misjudged him so bad, so so bad.
Ginni sighed and Adi opened his eyes only to meet hers.
They kept looking each other for some time, probably this was the last time they were catching the âdomestic sightâ of each other, the last eye lock as Mr and Mrs Aditya Raj Singh!
âAkash tumhe bohut miss karega.â Adi said still looking at her dark orbs.
âHmm, pata hain, par main ayungi nah usse milne, agar yaha nahi ayi toh school ke chutti ke time mil lungi.â Ginni replied. âOh yaad aya kal uska half day hain toh agar time mile toh use pick kar lena.â
âOh okay..umm kal uska half day hain toh tum bhi ajao ?â
âHuh?â
âHaan , I mean half day toh bahar lunch kar lenge hum tino. Uske liye kahe rahi hoon, khush ho jayega bechara.â
Ginni thought for a second and said, âHmm thik hain, waise bhi bohut late ho gaya hain, ek kaam karte hain aaj use nahi batate hain, kal school ke baad batayeng erestaurant main, hum dono rahenge so bewaja koyi drama bhi nahi hoga!â
âHmm.â
Ginni felther head aching. Managing Daarji was quite a task. Though they somehow accomplished it still she felt heavy. Probably it was the effect of separating from Daarji and Akash, she deciphered.
âGhar main kya bologi ?â
âJo sach hain wahi batungi, aur kya.â
Adi did not answer this time. He knew very well that Gulabo would be heartbroken too, but what would they do? Whatâs their fault in this? Itâs their life and they werenât happy at all.
The clock struck 10 breaking their trance.
âPack karleni chahiye.â Ginni remarked while getting up.
âHelp kardu ?â
âNahi, abhi nahi, waise bhi tum aoge toh aur zyada bigar donge.â
âTumhe kaisa malum?â He asked visibly annoyed. She just couldnât stop passing comments about him unknowingly, ever. Even on the last day of theirs together.
âMujhe sabmalum hain ji.â She said rather proudly. âPura ek mahina, ek mahina bitaya hain tumare sath, sab pata chal gaya mujhe.â
âAccha?â
âHaan jiâ
âRuko abhi dikhata hoon.â
He stood up from the bed and rushed towards the closet.
âHato main karunga.â
âKoi zaroorat nahi hain.â
âNahi main hikarunga, tum sirf dekho packing kaise hota hain.â
âYeh kaisa bewaja zid hain, huh ? Late ho jaungi main already 10 baaj gaye!â
But Ginniâswhines fell in deaf ears.
Adi had already taking out her clothes from the closet. He kept them one by one on the bed.
âDekho aise karte hain packing.â He remarked dragging the trolley bag from the corner tothe bed.
âHaanji, dekh rahi hoon, aisa sab kapre ko cupboard se bahar nikal ke bed par rakhne kohi toh âpackingâ kahete hain ? She said dramatically.
âSssh.Chup. Kaam karne do, tum jao ek side main chup chap baithi raho.â
âOkay, par 10 minutes main saari packing ho jani chahiye, dekho already tumare ladhayi kewajah se 10:10 baaj gayi hain.â
âMaine aaj kuch nahi kiya tumne hi mujhe bewaja bura kahâŚ.â Adi stopped midway as the vibrant red lahenga touched his fingers. It was just too beautiful to ignore. He rubbed his fingers on it unconsciously. But then quickly stooped and bought it on the bed.
âYeh..? Yeh mujhe..mujhe.. kyun de rahe ho?â
âToh kya karu?â
âMain..main..kaise loon yeh toh..?â
âIska ek dupatta tha nah? Who kaha gaya ? Thik se kyun nahi rakha tumne huh ?â
Adi went back to the closet , rummaging through his shirts and clothes. Ginni stood up and went towards the closet too.
âAditya?â
âMil gaya.Kaise rakhti ho tum yaar.â
âAditya?âShe called him again but he paid no heed to her. Adi moved towards the bed attempting to put the whole lahenga inside the bag but Ginni held his hand, âYeh toh tumari mummi ka hain nah? Mujhe kyun de rahe ho?â
âToh main rakhke kya karu ?â
âToh..toh main bhi le ja ke kya karu? Yeh toh unka hain nah, toh ise yaha hi hona chahiye is ghar peâŚjaisa itne di..â
âItne dino tak kise ne nahi pahena, tumne pahen li nah ab, toh tumara ho gaya.â And Ginni couldnât say anymore. The look in his eyes could not let her say anymore. She retreated back to her place as he completed the packing. No words were spoke only looks were exchanged. The silence was too much to bear, Ginni thought. Maybe because it was the first time they were silent together.
âHo gaya.âAdi said as he pulled the chain slowly.
âHuh?â
âHo gaya, packing, Ginni.â
âOh achha, thank you ji.â
âHmm.â
âHmm.â
âToh?â
âToh aab chalte hain.â
âHmm main drop kar dunga tumhe.â
âHmm.â She said standing up.
âTum lights off karke aao. Main bag lekar chalta hoon, and with this he moved out while she kept standing their watching his retreating figure.
