Problems seem to be unending for the makers of Chandragupt Maurya on Imagine TV. While a few days back only the channel got a legal notice for disrespecting the Brahman community, this time round rumours have it that the new lead, Ashish Sharma is so unhappy with the treatment he is getting on the sets of the show, that he is planning to quite.
The source says, "Ashish is on a complete protein diet since he is building up muscles for the character. He is following a certain pattern of diet which he needs to take from time to time. But instead of helping him out, the production house seems to be completely ignoring his needs. Not only do they go for breaks at odd hours but they are also providing him with weird stuff like noodles instead of proteins."
And to add to the miseries, Ashish is now down with malaria. "And even then he is shooting back to back, but there is no change in the attitude of the production house. They are treating him as is he is a supporting cast. He is so upset with the channel and the production house, that he is now planning to quit. He can't take it anymore. The concerned people have been made aware of his decision," adds the source.
