hey ive read an article on chanakya's death..acc to the article even chanakya died of voluntary starvation..after cgm left the kingdom chanakya served as a prime minister to bindusara too.But one of bindusara's advisors😡hated chanakya and created a misunderstanding between them by saying that chanakya was responsible for his mother's death,bindusara believed
him and started ignoring chanakya.when chanakya got to know that bindusara had taken a disliking for him,he was deeply hurt.chanakya who was used to cgm's obedience and love😳for him could not bear cgm son's hatred.so he gave all his wealth and possessions to the poor
and left the kingdom.ironically soon after that bindusara got to know dat his mother's death was an accident.he rushed to chanakya where he had pledged to fast until death,and begged him forgiveness but chanakya does not forgive him saying that it was too late.bindusara who
was mad with rage killed the advisor.few days later chanakya died and in this way bindusara lost one of the wisest man due to his stupidity and impulsiveness.
