I am so glad that Imagine is telecasting this serial though we are far behind in telecast last night I just was so curious that I watched couple of videos from this site , and hoping to catch up soon, just the thought that Chanakya was instrumental in thinking about united India thousand of years back and had the dream and vision whcih he fulfilled with CGM such a visionary character.

I just started watching this serial, I have to say the first three episodes were awesome.

They actor who plays the king is good, I was amazed when he spoke in his king and eunuch avatars. The actor who plays Chanakya is also cool, so together all the time. I do have problem understand pure hindi but I get the gist.

Historical epics are a treat to watch, used to love Jhansi Ki Rani, it tght me a lot abt Indian history and hope to learn more.

More musing on Rushiraj's acting ( ahem ahem '..* Bats eyelashes * ) Today I'll talk about two outstanding expressions of Rushiraj ( this boy is seriously killing me '.) of being betrayed , as he did such a above the cut job with them . When Chanakya refused 2 give him blessings prior 2 CGM's battle with Aamhic n his gang..in Dhani bhedan '.Another time is when Chanakya refused 2 accept the fruits on offering by CGM , points : 1 Both times his feelings of hurt r related 2 some form of refusal by his guru . Which clarifies this 2 us that his vulnerability is connected with Chanakya , the guru who took him away from the shed of his mom's affection n exposed him 2 the hurdles of the path , that'll ultimately lead him 2 greatness , Point : 2 . in 1^st case , it was just hurt , but there was understanding too , he was aware that he has crossed some limits by opposing Chanakya's words , showing at the end of the day, the future ruler of India is also the ruler of himself n if he's allowing any body 2 boss over him , it's a privilege , not Chanakya's birth right . So, it's only fair that if Chanakya refuses some thing 2 him he've 2 accept that with a pulled up chin n not b crest fallen . But , the 2^nd time , when he completely bowed down at his feet , he some how expected the situation 2 go his way , so the refusal caught him off guard n he was a bit shocked . N N N , we can sense these two different situations clearly only because RP's acting has already reached the level where he can differentiate between these two very subtle conditions smoothly , mark of a great actor.
