The master Chanakya though not physically present in this chapter was never mentally absent from Chandra and his thoughts. His teachings have almost become a part and parcel of Chandra's mental makeup.

His words and teachings keep resonating within him at every point as he reasons out of the literal minefield of conflicting emotions and thoughts. Beautiful.

Chanakya neeti intertwined in the main story adds a depth to this plot.I have loved the friends and loved one does more harm than enemy.So true,even in my life I had some experience of this kind.

Very true. Even I had similar experiences of friends back stabbing and enemies standing by me. Life is funny indeed.

Somehow I feel this chandra is longing for relationship and love from his family. He is now King,but still he yearns for family support. This weakness is too heavy for him. It is exploited perfectly by Helen and co.

Yep. Chapter 4 talks about his wish to keep everyone in his family happy, the inner pain when he realised that his own ppl are cheating him, his longing to have someone understand him as Chandra...helena and chanakya are the only ones who saw this weak side, the day he came to know about his birth. And the weakness is properly exploited by Helena, which makes her cruel than Apama.

I really wish to hear Helena's point of view.Then it will be balanced,because even accused and guily should be allowed to air their views.Let us be unbiased on this .What do you say Sang

A glimpse of Helena's point of view was brought out in Chapter 1 - she thinks she owns him. She thinks "so what if I have to eliminate people that interest him from his life". She shows no remorse of doing anything even after being caught. She believes her mother is gonna rescue her from here.

Her further point of view will come in climax...

Thank you for a lovely feedback to start with.

If CN really followed your way of thinking, Chandra's character could actually stand completely redeemed.

I wanted to redeem both Chanakya, and CGM.

Atleast Daadi's role has improved a bit after Nandu's return to Magadh.

But the Show has made a mockery of CGM as a lovelorn puppy and Chanakya always lagging in thoughts and actions. Amatya is doing a better role than Chanakya in the Show.

And special mention to how beautifully you have woven some nuggets of Chanakya Neeti into your story.

Chanakya Neeti should have been part and parcel of the CN Show, considering that CGM spend a majority of his childhood and youth in the company of Chanakya.

I also wanted the Show to impart life's lessons in a simple way, along with a strong love story.

But unfortunately the Show seem to be focussing more on the Love story, saas bahu bickering and cheap tricks.

I wish I could appreciate in more detail, but right now I am too speechless in marvel of your work. Please do continue this fiction, and write more in future.

@Bold: So true! And it's so strange how loyal he is to a man who does not deserve such intelligence by his side - MPN. Although I must say, he's an excellent father...and hot too 😳

Exactly. Especially Moora's character has been a result of so much lazy writing. Helena's characterization had potential, but now she's only a single charcoal shade of black
