This was Helena promise to Roopa before Patalgram episode, in exchange for Roopa separating Nandini from Chandra. Helena might then despatch Her soldier to kill Roopa while chandragupta is fighting with NAND.

Nandini would go to meet her father, thinking that she will talk her way in handing over Bharti (as per her Main Woh Stree Hoon ... And new wedding vows to save Chandra).

NAND stabs Roopa.

Roopa, in true filmi style, confesses her reason for birth and revenge... And Nandini hears.

Chandra jumps to fight after seeing NAND stab his own daughter... Ek Stree ...

In the end, Nandini stabs NAND, showing her loyalty to her husband ... And true heroine mahanta ...

Chandni scene was good - It is a contrast to see "her" cozying upto him . We come from a different territory like Rajat. 😆 But nicely done - Rajat extending his hand first, taking it later and then being pleasantly taken By N's reaction - All beautifully done by RT.

But I liked the later scene much. This is the strength of their relationship - After a cozy night ( Not the extreme) he retains the freedom and right to question her unilateral call or decision to send a patra to her Guru. And she LISTENS to him !!!! . Later he tells her not to indulge in such surprises without informing him. And she is unable to force him to share what he has in mind. In spite of which their closeness and rapport does not take any beating. This is what is truly special about Chandni.

And looks like the blame is going to be on Chandra for having taken a decision to combine this encounter for expositing Nand's badness to Nandini. There is something about that Soch or dialogue that will come back to haunt him later.
