With this one, I totally agree Sandy...I knew there was a caste system... but a chaste system? Never heard of that one before 😕Fine, like Shailaja said, I kept in mind that the Queen mother and her mother-in-law were only playing old-lady cupids... but God have they left the likes of Hamida Bano far far behind!😆I did a marathon watching of 7 episodes - and not even in 1 episode does Chandra do anything other than bedroom - hamam - bedroom - another hamam - terrace - bedroom - hamam! 😆Couldn't he at least mention in passing - like Durdhara keeps taking up 'Rajmata's' name - that he'd just come from the Sabha to make it seem like he's not truly jobless? The same guy... the same makers... another historical... but, there used to be a DEK scene every week... there was Atgah Khan by his side every other episode... there were frequent references of actual Mughal issues of the time. I can recall an announcement being made most times when Shehenshah Jalal-ud-din Mohammaed arrived. I can recall maids scampering when he left, guards flanking his side.Plumpy or not, wife-pujaari or not, Jalal was at least presented like an Emperor when not in presence of Jodha.Forget JA, even in other Ekta Kapoor serials, where the men are generally wallflowers - they at least put on a show of a busy day. They walk in with a suitcase, loosen their ties and plonk themselves on the sofa going 'Chaai'😆All this takes barely 10-20 seconds/episode to showcase and not a great deal of additional dent on their budget... and yet, such a difference to the actual 'feel' of the show!I'm not asking for actual tackling of Mauryan issues... but something... anything to show that the man is not only lovelorn and jealous? Here, CGM is busy placing takiya for wife so she can apply mehendi peacefully, wiping tears from the sketch so daadi can have a beautiful (??????) sketch, helping wife pack and unpack, applying uptan and having uptan applied, running to fetch doctor for daadi - all this in the past week alone. Why isn't he taking Durdhara for morning and evening walks like Malayketu is doing for Chaaya? Then the two couples-to-be can meet in the park and go 'hi bye' too!RT... did you have to be so dashing... such a good actor... look so fine as an Emperor? Look at what you're forcing me to put up with for your sake... 😆😕😡A few scenes I liked in last 7 episodes1) When he brings that sketch of Suryagupt proving Nandini innocent ... and she nods back as a thank you when she is hugging Mura.2) When she gives him a book and says 'keep it... you liked the book' as she packs up her Samsonite (in Sri's words)3) When he listens to her in the terrace as she opens up about missing her dad4) When Nandini indicates where his name is hidden in her Mehendi to help him out.Though this entire Mehendi-searching for husband name doesn't ring like a Mauryan custom, the gesture itself was sweet...These were all very understated scenes... done quietly... no big words... perfect for the phase they are currently in... neither here nor there... no OTT drama...

Now most of this, Lashykanna, I can agree with, though not the opening part. And Durdhara hardly needs walks when she is careening all over the palace like an Energiser bunny. As for you, I do not see what major sacrifice you are making for RT. What other great classics were you watching on TV otherwise that these 20 odd minutes a day were a great imposition? I find this constant lament very curious. And pure poppycock.Shyamala Periyamma

I saw the running around episode just now. Wasn't bad at all by any standards! I found it cute! I don't know why Dadi and Moora exasperate all of you so much. They are a bunch of silly, well-meaning females who can't hold a grudge even against their worst enemy's daughter. Regarding women and their intellects during 4 BC, were all of you expecting a Madame Curie in intellect and Madame Defarge in steely resoluteness and vindictiveness in them? The only people who ruffle me are Roopa and Malayketu. If not for these Cupids how would I see my favorite couple Chandini in the same frame?

Anyone seen the latest montage ?
Latest Montage is not tasteful for a hate to love story in this stage.
It is actually emphasizing on the Naari Shakthi ( False one as usual) , me thinks.

It is on twitter Akka with a predominant Nandini and background relegated CGM, me thinks.
Rudali is back. 😆
